Trump was 'pissed' and 'livid' after the Supreme Court rejected 2020 election challenge, Secret Service email shows

President Donald Trump was furious when the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit to overturn the 2020 election results, according to details revealed during a Thursday hearing by the House select committee investigating the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

The committee shared a message from the Secret Service that described Trump's reaction to the news on December 11, 2020, as "livid."

"Just fyi. POTUS is pissed — breaking news — Supreme Court denied his lawsuit. He is livid now," the message read.

Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to ex-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, also testified to the committee that she saw Trump after the court's decision that day and that he was "fired up."

"The president's just raging about the decision and how it's wrong and why didn't we make more calls and just his typical anger, outburst at this decision," Hutchinson said.

Hutchinson, who offered an explosive testimony about Trump to the committee in its June 28 hearing, said she also recounted the president telling Meadows, "I don't want people to know that we lost."

"This is embarrassing. Figure it out, we need to figure it out," Hutchinson said Trump told Meadows following the Supreme Court's decision. ***

That night I noticed several district reporting something like

Trump 490.25 votes
Biden 520.75 votes

Couldn’t understand until about a week or so later read that the machines could be programmed to give percentage votes.

Trump gets like 0.75 for every vote, Biden 1.25

Exactly. I wonder why the evidence gathered by Dinesh’s movie 2000 mules has not been introduced into this whole 2020 election mess.

I was, too. We heard it all: The case wasn’t “ripe”, the case can’t be heard cuz you delayed filing it, you have no standing, we don’t want to accept any evidence to even examine if it had credence or not, take it up with the state(s).....

It wasn’t his, it was the State of Texas. Need better journalism.

I remember it, waiting for pizza at Marco’s and saw it here on FR.

This should be filed under “Ukrainian Propaganda Threads". It would then make sense.

I’m surprised he hadn’t figured out we were a full-fledged banana republic yet.

Thanks.

So can Trump try this case in the Court of Appeals or if he’s already done that, what happed?

If the Court of Appeals ruled against Trump, then maybe SCOTUS doesn’t think there’s enough to warrant them hearing it? Don’t know the details.

I do know that there’s massive evidence of fraud, but I don’t know the details of this particular legal situation between the C/A & SCOTUS.

No, the ashtray hurling incident was years earlier, and she threw that at Billy Boy.

Secret service sounds like a bunch of gossipy girls.

Only when leaking gossip about PDJT. Releasing emails about other presidents is strictly forbidden.

There’s nowhere to introduce it at this point. Only place could be at Biden’s impeachment hearing, but that probably won’t ever happen.

The case was on a writ of certiorari - a request to the USSC. They let the case sit until it was too late and the electors had been certified. That rendered the case moot because THERE IS NO LAW (constitution or Statute) THAT PREVENTS CERTIFICATION WHEN THERE IS A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION CONTEST

Is this the same Secret Service that knew that Bill Clinton had interns and the oral office? Or the same Secret Service that new Bill Clinton was flying on the Lola express?

How dare he?!!!!

I believe being “pissed” and “livid” regarding a Supreme Court ruling is against the law. Everyone knows that. It is why the left is always so calm and circumspect when the Court issues an opinion they do not agree with.

Lock him up!
