An energy crisis manufactured by the globalist agenda to rapidly transition from oil and natural gas to green energy will lead to famine and freezing across Europe, warns a veteran international journalist.
Michael Yon, a U.S. Army Special Forces veteran, pointed out in an interview Monday that the sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline has exacerbated shortages that already have spiked the costs of energy and of nitrogen-based fertilizers that together drive up the cost of food while threatening the ability of families to heat their homes and cook their meals.
"We're actually beyond the precipice at this point," Yon told SiriusXM's Breitbart News Daily. "We're falling. It's too late. There's going to be famine, and the question is, 'How big and how many people are going to get hit?'"
Yon said some people "talk about energy as if everything's interchangeable, as if solar panels and windmills and nuclear plants can replace natural gas, which [they] simply cannot."
He noted that of the 26 major plants in Europe that produce nitrogen-based fertilizers, all are either closed down or on the verge of closing.
"This will lead to famine. It's just mathematics at this point," he said.
In August, a survey found that with energy bills set to spike by 80% in October, nearly one quarter of adults in Britain said they would not turn on their heating this winter.
The British government energy regulator Ofgem announced that month that the average household's yearly heating bill would rise in October from 1,971 pounds to 3,549 pounds. In U.S. dollars, that's an increase of from about $2,300 to $4,140.
The Liberal Democrats' Cabinet Office spokeswoman, Christine Jardine, warned at the time that millions were facing "financial devastation," with Britain "on the brink of the worst cost of living crisis in a century."

There are estimates that over 100M could freeze in Europe this winter.
This is exactly what globalists want.
I spent two years in Germany in the 70’s. There was, at that time, very little deadwood on the ground in German forests. It was collected, sawed into logs and neatly piled up for collection. Every-board inch was used. Many, if not most, homes did not have central heat. They had a coal stove in the bedroom that resembled an appliance, like a small washing machine on the wall. They could burn coal or wood. Every single board-inch.
According to th article......The British energy regulator announced that the average household’s yearly heating bill would rise in Oct. ...an increase from about $2,300 to $4,140.
I can’t imagine anyone affording even the $ 2,300!! I’d be looking for another country to move to.
No sense in wasting reusable words eh? 😎👌
I had baseboard heaters here that were so expensive to run and didn't sustain a steady comfort level. So I bought two of these and what a huge difference in costs and quality of heat....always consistent.
Someone plans to thaw them out so they can starve?
Pssssttttt. Electricity required and they me be facing black outs this chilly season.
Is that the water (not oil) version?
We bought one for a family member, who lives up North, and, they love it!!
Maybe they can plug it in to a solar charger 😱 🥶
How can it be fear porn if it’s 100% true? Wind and solar make up a tiny fraction energy needed. Hydro is better but not always available.
LNG, oil, and gas are readily available all the time and many products require these elements for manufacturing. Nuclear is good but again; not always available due to misguided politicians and it’s only good for electricity.
And, the 🐑 🐑 will believe and comply.
Let them gain the weight this winter. Next year they will make more Soylent Green from them. ;) Kinda like fattening the livestock.
Agree.

(My Comment) : Realize that this energy crisis is “man made” , and a product of the un-elected international “elites “
who are promoting “the Great RESET” for population control.
But you knew that already, rite ?
How can it be fear porn if it’s 100% true?
He stating that people will starve and freeze to death.
Is it happening?
What are those heaters called exactly?
Yeah I remember the talk this spring how farmers are not planting....well they did.

In America, we have family members and friends living in a 60 mile radius of Gay Frisco who had $500+ PG&E Monthly Bills from Sept to October due to the heatwave.
Two neighboring homes owned by retired MDs and their wives had over $1000 PG&E bills for that month. Up to then their HVAC systems were never off. Our monthly bill went from a little over $120 a month to $150 for that month.
One couple got creative and booked cruises for a month + and basically turned off their HVAC system and left their home. The other couple has not changed their living habits.
I know I’ve been posting this a lot lately, but https://www.driveonwood.com/ has some good resources. And it’s not just limited to cars and wood. There are gasifier designs that can use any dry organic burnables as fuel, such as corn stalks, sunflower shells, or manure. And they can fuel anything from tractors to generators to kitchen stoves. Even if you never end up building one, I think it’s a good idea to be familiar with them, just in case.
I’m currently working on a variation of a downdraft gasifier to turn crop waste into charcoal. Don’t know if I’ll ever run an engine off of it, but the charcoal will be made into biochar and used as fertilizer.
