The British energy regulator announced that the average household’s yearly heating bill would rise in Oct. ...an increase from about $2,300 to $4,140.

In America, we have family members and friends living in a 60 mile radius of Gay Frisco who had $500+ PG&E Monthly Bills from Sept to October due to the heatwave.

Two neighboring homes owned by retired MDs and their wives had over $1000 PG&E bills for that month. Up to then their HVAC systems were never off. Our monthly bill went from a little over $120 a month to $150 for that month.

One couple got creative and booked cruises for a month + and basically turned off their HVAC system and left their home. The other couple has not changed their living habits.
