Ukraine's State Emergency Services said at least 11 people have been killed and more than 60 wounded in Russian missile strikes on several Ukrainian cities Monday.

The strikes are the largest coordinated assault on Ukrainian cities since the early days of the war. The Russian Defense Ministry said the strikes targeted Ukraine's military command and communication facilities and energy infrastructure.

At least six people were killed in Kyiv when missiles struck several locations in the city center during morning rush hour. Officials in the central city of Dnipro said four people were killed.

The leader of Ukraine's armed forces, Valeriy Zaluzhny, said around 75 Russian missiles were launched, of which more than 40 were shot down by Ukrainian forces.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the Russian forces had also used Iran-built armed attack drones.

Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that 11 major infrastructure targets were hit in eight regions, causing widespread disruption to electricity, water and communications.

Emergency services wrote on Telegram that the regions of Lviv, Poltava, Sumy and Ternopil currently have no electricity following the strikes, with other regions experiencing partial disruptions.

I’m more worried about the frustrated old man in the White House.

--- "Yup. Just within the last 30 years, Russia has invaded Chechnya (twice), Georgia, and Ukraine (twice)."

Yup. Just within the last 30 years, the US and NATO....

But you wouldn't agree with the list, because "invasion" doesn't also include bombing other nations, does it? Else we're still number one in the comparison! Yea, number one!

"Russia is running out of missiles."

How can Russia still fight when Putin has died 15 times already?

Read some history, son

The Crimea was taken by force from the Ottoman Empire in 1783 by Catherine the Great. It has been Russian for over 240 years.

Russia has their largest naval base there. The Ukraine is delusional if they think Russia is going to let them or anyone take the Crimea.

Let’s ask them how “helped” the feel

yes, let's ...

hmmm, the US is widely admired & respected in Vietnam

want to go back to South Korea, Japan, and Germany? They all appreciate America's help protecting them from the Commies for many years

how many countries where Russia invaded is Russia now admired? I'm thinking zero ...

I said the last 30 years. How are Iraq and Afghanistan doing? How about Libya or Serbia? What do they think about us in Egypt or Syria? And that’s just getting started.

Wouldn’t blame Ukraine a bit if they take the war to Russia.

—> It’s pretty amazing how much of what Ukraine does is carbon copied by how the US handles conflicts and wars. ....that is unless one might consider the US is managing this conflict just as they managed and worked behind the scenes in the election.

It is a US led war, paid for, intelligence provided, and ukies used as expendable tools.

If Ukraine does they may find Nato will have a huge say in that....and it won’t be what Zelensky wants to hear.

There were NOT a million casualties in Iraq.

There was a fake lancet study that falsely said so.

Moreover 75% of the casualties that did happen were inflicted by pro Saddam anti U.S. forces.

“No surprise here and again, this is what the west wants - war.”

Well, that’s what Putin is giving no matter what the west wants.

This should’ve been negotiated in January and in every month since that time.

I agree, but left doesn’t want to. They desperately want to keep this going.

You Russians are fun! Libya conducted terror attacks against civilians world-wide - remember Lockerby? Any of our attacks were against military targets to assist the forces overcoming Khaddafi - not conquest. It's never been about conquest.

Russia on the other hand, has conducted naked aggression against a sovereign nation for the purpose of stealing land and the wealth of that country and has committed war crimes in the process - deliberately killing civilians.

Russia is an international outlaw power and has never been anything else.
