The vault company was shut down following the raid and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money..
Funny how this little factoid isn’t mentioned closer to the beginning of the article. Oopsie

He was either part of it, paid off well, or made an offer he could not refuse Family threatened).
I don’t care if there is an issue with the company. The box holders are innocent until proved guilty and this is clearly a violation of the 4th amendment.

It said owners' items still had not been returned and that agents misled a judge to get the warrant. One more reason to avoid banks.

So if you deposit your money in a bank that, unbeknownst to you was laundering money, the feds can seize your money even though you did nothing wrong?
If this is legal then it is legal theft.
Any honest agency would return people property if they were not involved with crimes.
But we’re talking the DOJ here...
To: Ken522
You may want to check your source. He was appointed by W. Bush.

The vault company was shut down following the raid and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money.. What does that have to do with the people using the service? Are they to have their property stolen, simply because the company they used plead guilty to a conspiracy charge?
As stated, none of the customers have been charged with any crime.
This is atrocious, banana republic stuff.
To: goodnesswins
Never heard that fact before. Was the vault company a front? Does their crime mean their customers forfeit their property?
Something very shady here if you ask me.

“The vault company was shut down following the raid and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder drug money.” Hhhmmmmmm When the feds go after you, you have two choices:
1. Fight them and be buried under years of continuances and millions in legal fees
2. Plea bargain to a lesser charge
The feral government is corrupt to the core, and one of these days they'll come after your stuff.
