Sweden has sent a vessel capable of “advanced diving missions” to the Baltic Sea area where ruptured undersea pipelines had leaked natural gas for days, the Swedish navy said on Monday.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday accused the West of sabotaging Russian-built natural gas pipelines under the Baltic Sea to Germany, a charge vehemently denied by the US and its allies, who noted that Russia has been blackmailing Europe with reduced gas supplies for months….
…Captain Jimmie Adamsson, a spokesman for the Swedish navy, told AP that a submarine rescue ship had been sent to the site of the leaks off Sweden and was supporting the Swedish coastguard, which is in charge of the work. It was unclear when anyone or anything would be able to go down to the pipelines, either divers or a submarine.
The coastguard said one of its vessels, Amfritrite, was at the site to monitor nearby sea traffic. It added that bad weather is expected, which will complicate the situation….
… Danish authorities were monitoring the two leaks east of the Danish Baltic Sea island of Bornholm – above Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 – with the frigate Absalon, the environmental ship Gunnar Thorson, and a military helicopter.
Sweden’s prosecuting authority and the Swedish Security Services are heading an investigation, while Copenhagen police were in charge of an inquiry in Denmark.
A joint international investigation team from Denmark, Germany and Sweden, among others, was also being set up….

Bornholm Island is a Danish possession. Denmark was a charter member of NATO. Sweden has been closely cooperating with NATO on naval security matters for over 30 years.

There were 4 explosions recorded by Swedish seismic monitors. Two explosions each on 2 different pipelines 20 KM apart.
“Poor maintenance” does not result in the above.

Actually, a through investigation can determine what likely happened and WHO DID IT.
Soon the divers will be able to go down. I hope that the Swedes and Danes (who are doing the investigation of these CRIMES) do every thing possible forensically to find all available evidence. This would include gathering every bit of concrete/metal exploded from the pipelines and every bit of material that could have come from the bombs or the means of delivering the bomb. They can be examined forensically in detail on the surface. You’d be amazed at what can be determined by scientific examination of bomb residue and bomb fragments. Just as DNA can lead back to individuals, so scientific examination of material evidence at a bombing site can lead back to the likely state perpetrator(s).
I really want the perpetrators to be identified with appropriate consequences to follow.
Also, I actually HAVE NOT HEARD BIDEN AFFIRMATIVELY DENY ALL U.S. INVOLVEMENT in this crime. He says WEASEL WORDS such as we’ll get to the bottom of this sabotage and Russia’s making ridiculous statements.
I also HAVE NOT HEARD A REPORTER ASK BIDEN “DID THE U.S. HAVE ANY INVOLVEMENT IN THIS CRIME?”.
LISTEN CAREFULLY to what they say.
Lastly, I hope the Swedes and Danes protect the crime scenes well. That includes keeping potential perpetrators (e.g., Russia, United States, Poland) far from those crime scenes and the gathered evidence.
Why would the Russians blow up those pipelines? Without them they cannot sell their gas to Europe and obtain hard currency. Most of that gas will be burned off. There is no capacity to sell to other buyers. The loss of this energy will cause economic contraction throughout the EU especially in Germany. Germany has ingested green lunacy poison. It is in the process of committing cultural and economic suicide. The destruction of these pipelines will hasten its death as a nation state. The globalist cabal that runs Biden is ecstatic. Who would have thought twenty years ago that the US Navy would be yoday doing missions for the lunatic Left.
I hope it isn’t the Seaview. That thing’s computer spits sparks every time a sea monster touches the hull.
