I’ve seen reports say there were 3 explosions, i’ve seen four. I don’t know which is correct. I’ve seen one recent report where the Russians are claiming one pipeline has an intact tube remaining which might still deliver gas. Did the pipelines really include 2 or more parallel independent pipes, I don’t know? That might account for bangs outnumbering ‘just two’ pipelines. Or could methane hydrates, in just one pipe, produce multiple ruptures then explosions? I don’t know. But although malice is tempting to assume, common human incompetence is a powerful force for bad. And can lead to crazy coverups just like malice.
We shouldn’t add stupidity by prematurely reaching conclusions. “Biden is a dangerous, babbling idiot,” is established fact. “That idiot intentionally blew the pipeline,” is not and implies a level of competence I doubt the idiot possesses. Now, saying one of his puppeteers blow the pipeline, with or without the idiots approval or even knowledge is scary, conceivable, but premature pending further investigation.
I hope the investigation can offer solid answers and prefer the accident scenario as it can be rephrased to save face and defuse this part of the big picture instead of blowing up into something even worse.

Seismic recordings pinpointed the times and locations of explosions. They have a distinctive recorded waveform, identifiable as explosions, not earthquakes.

The company is a consortium of owners and is said to be a Swiss company. The article referenced said nothing about the company that actually constructed the pipe line, did the work or the design.

The pipelines are apparently owned by consortiums of which Russia is the primary. It would seem that the corporations owning the pipelines must order the investigations. The pipelines are in effect the private property of several corporate owners
One wonders, how an act of war triggers an investigation into damages to private property. Once that questions is answered, all of the private property destroyed in Ukraine must be similarly investigated.
