Western leaders have blamed ‘deliberate’ sabotage after Nordsteam pipe from Russia suffered 'unprecedented' damage off Sweden - causing 3000ft-wide bubbles in the Baltic Sea and causing prices to spike.
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said her government believes the leaks were caused by 'deliberate actions', adding that the gas supply pipeline will be out of action for around a week.
She said this evening: 'It is now the clear assessment by authorities that these are deliberate actions. It was not an accident. There is no information yet to indicate who may be behind this action.'
Her Energy Minister Dan Jorgensen also said the size of the holes in the pipelines indicate that the leaks could not have been caused by an accident such as getting hit by an anchor. The damaged pipelines are at a depth of 70-90 meters below sea level, he added.
The remarks were backed by Sweden's PM Magdalena Andersson, who said informations suggests the blasts were likely sabotage.
She said her government was in close contact with partners such as Nato and neighbours such as Denmark and Germany concerning the developments.

Naturally our deep state did it. They had said they would and panic had set in after the partial mobilization and referendums. Europe was weakening...looking for an off ramp. And that darn ole Saudia Arabia had begun trying to broker a peace deal.
That had to be stopped. Voila, our destructive government provided it.
But, the big question, the one we should be focused on now is what is Russia going to do in retaliation...???
1. It is nonsense to imagine Russia/Putin doing this.
2. I know Biden had nothing to do with it because the attack succeeded.
Who/what really did it is a mystery for now but it sure doesn’t look like an accident.
Trump tried to “cut it off.” He sanctioned the pipeline itself and companies building it much to Germany’s rage. It was Brandon who green lit the project while partnering with with Putin to nuke up Iran. Those are the facts.

We are at the point now where some kind of mistake or miscalculation could easily ignite a serious conflict. Or worse.

It’s totally plausible Russia did this and in fact typical of something KGB Vlad would try. Russia’s corrupt and incompetent army is losing badly in Ukraine and he desperately wants a crisis with NATO to justify the draconian measures his regime is taking now.

The damage is to the pipeline, now flooded with corrosive salt water for weeks to months to forever. It may be too damaged to ever use again. A total loss.
