Understanding what a supporter understands is the specialty of the Marxist Left.

The supporter will have a hard time with this until explained by their masters.

No, they aren’t. While the 14th Amendment does mention that rights of citizens cannot be abridged by states, it then goes on to use the words ‘any person’ in reference to being deprived of life, liberty or property and equal protection of the laws. The 4th Amendment uses the word person in regards to rights.

This doesn’t mean their suits have merit, but even illegals have Constitutional rights.

The downtrodden “migrants” must have suffered psychological distress and may sue for that, too. And being kept from their upcoming professional careers. Lawyers smell the fragrance of easy money.

The rarely mentioned movie I Love You, Alice B. Toklas (1968, with Peter Sellers and Leigh Taylor Young) had the lawyer (Sellers) asked by a Mexican man to sue after a truck accident. His wife and I think nine children stuffed into an open stake side truck who later came into his office, each in the long parade wearing a cervical collar to look hurt for the lawsuit.

THEY ARE NOT migrants, they’re illegals and as such they’re NOT covered by our bill of rights!🙄

too bad they all signed disclosures and waivers ...

My thought as well.

Prog lawyers will claim they did not know what they were signing.

RDS lawyers will say "OK, they didn't know what the lawsuit was when they signed it either.

.

DeSantis should fly the next batch to the Aleutians Islands. That is part of America too. Drop off a couple of buckets of drywall compound and some two-by-fours and those amigos can get to work.

Anyone is the us, legal or not has constitutional rights.

That is correct. The lawsuit however seems to have a very tenuous legal basis. It seems like it would be very hard to show any harm to the individual illegal aliens as a result of them being offered and accepting a free trip to a safe, welcoming (on paper at least) luxury vacation spot in Massachusetts.

Any damages they do claim to have incurred could be immediately repaired - just return them to wherever in Texas they were previously, or back home to Venezuela if that is what they want. I doubt they want to go back to Texas or Venezuela.

Claiming some kind of damages because you got a free flight to a resort island seems pretty ridiculous.

That could boomerang.

All of those illegals the Biden Admin relocated could use the same tactic to sue.

Look for ambulance chasers to run commercials on late-night TV.

This could be the start of a whole new industry.
