Germany’s public broadcaster, Deutsche Welle, has revised its code of conduct to require support for Israel’s right to exist, and employees who fail to do so may now be fired.
The move announced Sept. 1 preceded a court order last week that DW reinstate a former employee fired who was fired after the company determined she had made comments about Israel that could be construed as antisemitic. In all, seven employees from the broadcaster’s Arabic service were let go last year on similar grounds, and so far two have successfully sued DW for reinstatement.
The revised conduct code appears to be timed to strengthen the company’s hand in such cases in the future. DW spokesperson Vera Tellmann told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in an email that the company “is awaiting the reasons for the verdict in one case and reserves the right to take further legal action.”

I didn’t know Israel was a German broadcasting company. Of course, we do control everything. But it’s ironic that the German company has this ideological litmus test about Israel, and here I am in Israel, saying how dumb it is.

There is no such thing, in the affairs of nations, as a “right to exist”.
Any such supposed right must have a plan for enforcement.
If the plan is, “kill anyone who objects, and don’t stop until no one objects”, fine. That’s how the US acquired the Dakotas. Whether we plan to keep the Southwest and California utilizing this simple concept remains to be seen - based on current events, it doesn’t look good.

A Quisling refers to someone who remains at his post when his country is invaded, and collaborates with the enemy. It’s origin is Vidkun Quisling, the then Prime Minister of Norway, who collaborated with the Nazis when they took over. By definition, my leaving the United States, for whatever reason, cannot be deemed the act of a Quisling.
As for “cowardice,” a coward would not be living so close to the Syrian and Lebanese border as I am.

1. My son’s upcoming nuptials in Israel.
2. A promise I made to myself at a young age, that I would stay in Israel when I came there for the first time.
3. The incoming Obama Administration’s agenda, which I was convinced would lead to hyper inflation, totalitarian oppression, and violence targeting Jews as scapegoats of the hyper inflation. I was right. It just took ‘til Obama’s third term to actually happen, but happening it is.

Just do you know, as stated in the article, this policy is targeted at the Muslims who have invaded Germany. Like blacks in the USA, they flock to gubmint jobs and are rapidly taking over the machinery of government at all levels.
This move excludes most of the Muslims who refuse to sign the policy.
Actual German nationalist have very little problem with Israel.

People emigrate to Israel mostly for religious reasons, as the very land is holy for Jews. They are going to Israel because they want to live in the Holy Land, not because they are fleeing the U.S. or wherever they are emigrating from.

I wouldn't expect actual German nationalists of any flavor to be a factor. My initial comment alludes to "official" Germany committing suicide.
