Former Vice President Mike Pence said in a new interview that the next Republican elected to the Oval Office, “whoever that may be,” will support a national abortion ban.
“I welcome any and all efforts to advance the cause of life in state capitals or in the nation’s capital,” Pence said in an interview with RealClearPolitics published Wednesday. “And I have every confidence that the next Republican president, whoever that may be, will stand for the right to life.”

there is ONLY ONE reason the man would say this... and that is to turn a good portion of society away from the right. Proof the guy is a fkn Rino...
The left will push the lie that if Republicans win in 2022 and 2024, they will quickly make all abortion illegal.
this is a states issue.
True. Pence is already trying to lose the election without even announcing a run.
That pretty much tells you all you need to know about Pence.
Yep
No they won’t liar Pence. Indiana went through something like this with you when you were Governor. You are all morally for something until the other side applies the pressure to you, then you cave.
Pence is all talk and he is as weak as a kitten.
All of the GOP Presidents in my lifetime have “stood for life” but none of them did more than pay lip service until Trump.
There is no Constitutional authority to regulate abortion ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.
We can make it so with an amendment, but otherwise it’s just not there.
Pence was the serpent in Trump’s tent waiting for an opportune moment to bite him in the neck. That opportunity came after the 2020 election - and he didn’t miss.
“I want abortion to be treated as 1st degree premeditated murder in all 50 states”...
That’s a little over the top don’t you think?? And that kind of thinking will cost many republicans elections this year because many people disagree with their stance on abortion. Republicans over played their hand on this issue. Instead of finding out what people in their states wanted they rushed ahead and banned everything. And now we see many of them backtracking or avoiding talking about it due to the backlash.
“The Supreme Court said to leave it up to the states.”
Exactly!
Pence like Lindsey Graham are doing all they can to get the Democrat voters excited and to vote for their Democrat candidate elected in November.
It’s not the least bit over the top. Abortion is the brutal taking of an innocent life that is planned. Where do you get your morals? You are sick, worrying about Republicans and whether they get there votes. It’s weak people like you that never made the argument, weak, just like most Republicans.
Yes, that’s what this is all about.
I am extremely anti-abortion, but I think it needs to be addressed at a state-by-state level, which is exactly what the Supreme Court said.
Convince your neighbors, make them realize what’s going on and the true story of Planned Parenthood, etc. And then it will be rejected state by state. It will be slow but it will work.
I wonder about the motivation of both Pence and Graham, who are liberals and came out with this stuff within the last day. They’re confirming the Dem hysteria message.
Why would they do that?
You're missing the point.
We've won half the war already, and red states are stepping up. Plus the younger generation is more and more pro-life.
I am pro-life to the bone, but right now this isn't a pertinent issue. People can't afford basic necessities, they're getting kicked out of homes and apartments, and crime is out of control.
There's no need to focus on a federal abortion ban that probably won't even make it out of committee. This is simply dumb-ass Republicans grifting and whoring themselves out to the Christian base.
Gawd!
STFU!!!
I do apologize for not being the stoic avenging warrior you seem to be...and for my concern about my fellow Americans and what they might think or feel. I will endevour to be more dogmatic in my views and opinions going forward. I do not want to appear weak to my enemies....whomever they may be.
Pence is the one doing the dividing.
