Let’s not mince words: Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman (D) may not be capable of performing the duties required of him if he wins his race for U.S. Senate against Republican Mehmet Oz.
This perspective comes after Fetterman, who suffered a stroke nearly four months ago, seems to be avoiding a debate with Oz before early voting begins on Sept. 19. Pittsburgh’s KDKA-TV had offered to host a debate between the two on Sept. 6, but Fetterman declined.
“As I recover from this stroke and improve my auditory processing and speech, I look forward to continuing to meet with the people of Pennsylvania,” Fetterman said in a statement after the Oz campaign offered to debate in September. “They’ll always know where I stand.”
Actually, voters won’t know where Fetterman stands if he continues to do T-ball interviews with handpicked media members and avoids being challenged directly by Oz in a debate setting.

And Fetterman is way more entrenched in the LGBTQ agenda even being in favor of teachers preying on our kids. That’s the problem with our side...if a candidate doesn’t agree with us on 100% of the issues then they aren’t worth voting for, which is really stupid!
He should be happy the stroke is being used to keep his extreme radical (Maoist) positions out of the public arena.
Maybe when his neck bulge hatches, he can stay on the ballot as a two-fer.

The dems don't mind tagging along with a creep, a socialist, or an unqualified candidate. What they won't tolerate is a loser, and Fetterman is quickly being shown to be a loser (and they haven't even laid into him very hard yet).
Oz as Senator doesn't bother dems all that much, but losing the governorship is big and Fetterman's failing can easily lower turnout and impact Shapiro's chances of winning.
Both Fetterman and Shapiro won their primaries in a walk, they haven't been tested. Still, most of the poll movement right now is due to Republcian voters coming home to support Oz, not reacting to how awful Fetterman is. When dem voters start figuring how awful a medically competent Fetterman is, the prospect of voting for a mentally diminished one is going to be even less likely.
Well said. I doubt we’re going to get a chance to vote against Fetterman, though. These friendly fire articles against Fetterman show the internal pressure is building for him to drop out. If Fetterman gets smoked, there’s a good chance he’s going to pull down Shapiro, and that they can’t have.
If we have a Republican governor in 2024, we have a good chance of taking Pennsylvania, and with it, the White House.

Oz isn't going to win. He is not attacking Fetterman on the issues and speaking about real issues such as stopping green energy. He is the John Kerry of PA.
It pretty much does mean you support Fetterman! Must be something in the water with you PA “conservative” turncoats. Btw Mastriano is down 11 in the same poll...he apparently cannot win either. I’d bet Oz wins before Doug does. Hopefully they both do but since you are being petty, so am I!

You live in PA. The best you’re going to get are Bushies like Toomey, Specter and Santorum. Oz is Trump backed...not sure why you can’t see that! If you want a full on MAGA firebreather then move to the deep south or Wyoming because that’s where MAGA can get elected. Barnette would be down worse than Mastriano right now!
