Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba hit back at Germany in a fiery message on Twitter Tuesday after Berlin refused to provide Kyiv with military vehicles earlier in the week.
"Disappointing signals from Germany while Ukraine needs Leopards and Marders now – to liberate people and save them from genocide. Not a single rational argument on why these weapons cannot be supplied, only abstract fears and excuses," Kuleba said in an uncharacteristically aggressive message. "What is Berlin afraid of that Kyiv is not?"
Germany has come under fire at home and abroad for apparent hesitancy to provide arms to Ukraine amid Russia’s illegal invasion.
Though Berlin has provided substantial support, it has stopped short of providing Ukraine with Leopard 2 battle tanks – noting it cannot do so without the support of its NATO partners.

Yep. The Germans need Russian energy. So they have got to figure out how to avoid offending Russia further while at the same time staying on the Ukraine cheerleading team.
It won’t be an easy task. It’s just a shame Trump never warmed the Germans about this. Oh, wait. He did, and they laughed at him.
Check back in a year, when the Russians have consolidated heir gains and Ukraine is still begging for money. Lots of money.
They have tons of tanks the Russians gave them, they just need to get them refurbished quickly and into action.

Do you expect the Russians will retreat from Kherson next? Will the excuses they used to retreat from Kiev, Sumy, Chernigov, Nikolaev, Snake Island, and Kharkov oblast still carry water with you, or is there a tipping point at which you begin to re-assess the war-fighting capability of the Russian army? In short, how bad do they have to fail for you to reconsider the outcome?

The 3rd Armored Division entered combat in Normandy with 232 M4 Sherman tanks. During the European Campaign, the Division had some 648 Shermans completely destroyed in combat and we had another 700 knocked out, repaired, and put back into operation. This was a loss rate of 580 percent.

Just have to know how to use them in combined arms operations. But the Russians have demonstrated they suck at modern war, and it led to erroneous conclusions by ill informed observers.
