The Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Consumer Price Index released Tuesday morning shows that inflation in August rose one-tenth of a percentage point from July and up 8.3 percent from the previous year.

I’ve seen an occasional article touting this as an environmental bill, rather than what it is named, mainly from Lefty sources.

didn’t Joe and the administration change how they interpret inflation changes? So rather than talking about the annual inflation change, they now talk about the change from month to month, so as to minimize the political damage????

How did we amass the stupid people on top? Inflation is high because they screwed with our fuel supplies.

This bill is merely the “build back better” or green-energy bills that couldn’t get passed earlier.

> 8.3 percent from the previous year.

Real life expenses are a lot higher. I’m seeing heating oil up 100% and some grocery items up 30% or more.

Curious, How does printing another Trillion Dollars that we don’t have, help reduce inflation?

I’d celebrate too if I could hoodwink people and get paid for it.

Yes. When talking to their base, Democrats are referring to it as the “environmental bill” or “climate change bill”. I have even seen it called that in ad by one of their candidates. Manchin is such a gullible idiot.

Sure. And when people go to buy a hot dog and it costs $6 instead of $2.50 they will say "thank goodness Biden kept inflation so low, it might have been $10 by now if he hadn't fixed it!" I guess that's their theory.

But then the next month the hot dog costs $8.

It’s hard to fathom anyone still supporting this stupidity.

As if inflation was going to be reduced by increasing government spending. 🙄🙄🙄

Makes perfect sense. /s

The fall of Rome began with Commodus in something like 383. He was corrupt, perverse and insane. Much of the Roman senate was the same and so it began with a string of failure emperors.

Sound familiar?

In addition, Rome had stretched too far and could not control their far flung empire from invaders and unrest.

Where the hell are you getting those great deals on hotdogs. I just paid $9.50.

Correct. These idiots of Biden’s are mostly Obama’s idiots. Biden took over a good economy, and he and his pals have trashed America to our lowest ever.
