Working Women Who Stay Single And Childless Are Richer Than Other Groups

Kids are expensive and single, child-free women are taking note.

New data from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis showed that single women without kids pocketed $65,000 more in wealth in 2019 than single, child-free men, who has an of $57,000. Single mothers, on the other hand, had only $7,000.

This is unsurprising since on average, it takes about $286,000/year to raise two children in the US according to the USDA as reported by Bankrate. These staggering figures, along with improved sex education and more financial independence among women, may correlate to the drop in US births.

*Based on Census Bureau historical data and Morgan Stanley forecasts, 45% of prime working age women (ages 25-44) will be single by 2030—the largest share in history—up from 41% in 2018. Single women are expected to grow +1.2% annually from 2018-2030 compared with +0.8% for the overall U.S. population (Female Population Projection, Index 2010=100)

my experience tells me that single, child-free women are terribly unhappy people. They may have money in their bank accounts, but they are miserable

Yeah, yeah...cats...boxed wine...yada yada.

I never had children because my husband had severe health issues. Now he's gone. Yeah, I got a cat. Yeah, I like boxed wine from Costco. Yeah, I got piles of money.

...and while I miss my husband, I do LOVE my freedom. Wouldn't trade it again for anything.

Oh...and I am VERY Happy! And the more I look at today's culture, figure I probably dodged a bullet as I watch my friends and their gender-confused, video game addicted, inked-up moron children and grandchildren. Yikes! Happy to be on my own.

I work with about 80% women and can tell you that you are absolutely right.

“Richer and more money” are far from the same thing.

By the time they realize it, it is way too late to do anything about it.

Okay. It says per year. I guess that number for 18 years is more like it but that still seems too high. It does add up quick though.

I can say it is super expensive to raise a kid, more now that when I was in my child raising years, even accounting for inflation.

“$286,000/year to raise two children in the US according”

This is per year they say, not total cost to raise a child.

I’m willing to put myself up for adoption is someone wants to spend $143,000 every year on me.

What is child free? No kids at home? No responsibility for any kids? One wonders whether the single men amounts are down due to child support and alimony payments.

Oh my! Another sociological study that discovers just what the author’s hoped it would. These studies are garbage created by people trying to justify their own decisions and inadequacies. In other words, they are worthless nonsense.

On the other hand, working men who stay married with children have less money than other groups.

Because they can't spend it on what they want. MGTOW is the way forward for men.

So, it thereby proved that the smart, single, college-educated women with no children are richer, eh? Good. That means they have aborted their children. And will not breed.

Witch is why they hate and despise the (republican) college and tech school educated men and women who DO HAVE CHILDREN.

If there are indeed fewer women at the very high end of the IQ spectrum and there is a sex-based genetic link, this noted phenomenon might help to explain why.
