Agreed! but, a majority of the wooing stages in dating brings you to diners and bars... or anywhere alcoholic beverages are sold. the step away from that the man still is expected to pay or he’s considered a cheap bastard! lol...

Yes. It was a big con in the late seventies and early eighties to tell us not to have more than two children, all in order to save the planet. Thankfully, my youngest son is making up for my foolishness and having as many as God will bestow upon him. He and his wife have a handful and will welcome all that they are blessed with.

Oh I forgot I repainted trikes and other toys and wrapped them up for Christmas and birthday presents ...
I saved Piggly Wiggly Green Stamps and got their new presents from the GS store ...
I brought presents the day after Christmas and hid them ..
and I made presents also ...
My children never wore Nike sneakers .. Yes I should have been arrested ...
Their sweaters were plain without the alligators and other brand icons ...
They got candy, cans of sodas and chips at birthdays and Christmas only ...
They went to church and were expected to be polite to their elders ...
Such ruined children !!!
and yet all graduated from college one has a Masters and none went to jail or are homeless on drugs ...
and all desired to live the gender on their birth certificate ...

No way $286K is per year. I don’t make that much in 4 years and I raised two.
No good answer for that. Except to say that real love is self-sacrificing. So it’s practice to get ready for that? Maybe?
