The poll, taken two months before the election, showed Hochul ahead by only six points.

Forty-nine percent of the respondents said they would vote to elect the incumbent governor, and 43 percent said they would vote for Zeldin, who currently represents Eastern Long Island in the House. Eight percent said they were undecided.

In a rational world, a can of Spam should be able to beat Hochul.

6 points is a very large margin.

It’s too bad that similar results don’t exist in Massachusetts, California, Maryland, and Michigan. It’s terrible how Blue the Bluest areas of the U.S. really are today and how the majority of voters in the Bluest of Blue areas of the U.S. are making themselves, even, worse off by how they keep on voting for Leftists/RINOS during each and every election cycle.

Why in the world would anyone vote for a person so drunk on power that is directly affecting their freedoms?

I just don’t get it

Moreover, 50 percent of those surveyed were Democrats, while Republicans comprised 34 percent of the respondents. Independents made up 16 percent.

If the poll internals above are correct 6 points is not huge, in fact it is nonexistent. Jokechul is in deep doo-doo and we have almost 2 months before Election Day.

Absolutely amazing in a 7-2 Dem-GOP state. That tells me Hochul really is doing a horrible job, so bad that even Democrats will admit it. Her only ad currently running statewide says Zeldin is "dangerous", I mean a 2nd grader could be more creative.

They will pull the same shenanigans that they pulled in NJ last year when Fuhrer Murphy found just enough votes to win at the 14th hour.

Why in the world would anyone vote for a person so drunk on power that is directly affecting their freedoms?

Some people *want* to be told what to do. They’re terrified to make their own decisions. For these people, “slavery is freedom”, per Orwell; the freedom from responsibility for one’s own actions.

I was watching one of the 9/11 documentaries on History channel last night around 9pm or so. A girl in an apartment that was filming said "I just wish they'd tell us what to do!". I'm thinking to myself, why not just hang tight like everyone else, do you need instructions for that?

So?

I guess you never heard of George Pataki.

The registrations percentages weren't much different but Pataki had to beat Mario "The Pius" Cuomo and did. Jokechul might be an Andrew but she ain't no Mario.

Zeldin can keep wishing. The NYS urban voter fraud centers won’t allow a statewide Republican to win.
