Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis started at new school today
Prince William has joined Prince Charles and other royals at the Queen's bedside
Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, has remained in Windsor as the immediate family head to Balmoral to be at the Queen's bedside.
Prince William rushed to Scotland amid growing concerns for the Queen's health but Kate has stayed at Adelaide Cottage and was spotted leaving Windsor Castle to collect the children from school this afternoon.
Today was the first day for Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, at Lambrook School.
Yesterday the family-of-five arrived together for a 'settling-in' afternoon, with cheery photographs of them walking in hand-in-hand released this morning. But today it was just Kate doing the school run.
In a statement Kensington Palace said: 'The Duchess of Cambridge has remained in Windsor as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are on their first full day at their new school.'
Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge has joined Prince Charles and other members of the immediate family at the Queen's bedside, as doctors revealed they are 'concerned' for her health.

Let her be. They ought to skip Charles, and William should take over. She probably wants 1 on 1with the kids. It will be a lot harder to do so going forward . She is a good lady and needs space

Charles is too damned selfish to pass the crown to William. He’ll take the crown and in short order the United Kingdom will dispense with the monarchy and declare itself a republic.

The Queen decides then Parliament agrees or not. The or not has never happened.
Just like the Queen can overrule Parliament on affairs of State.
