To be fair, a bowl of unrefrigerated potato salad with a paper sign sticking out of it reading “Not Liz Cheney” in crayon would have beaten Liz Cheney in this election by at least four points... but Hageman really leaned into her mission and built up some good momentum. I’m interested to see what comes next for her and I hope she serves and represents the residents of her home state well.
By focusing on Wyoming instead of thinking she is a GOPe Congressman at large, untethered to any particular state.
It was as simple as A B C…..Anybody But Cheney!
Liz Cheney beat Liz Cheney.
Like a rented, red-headed step-mule.
In all fairness, Hageman doesn’t deserve any of the credit for this victory. It was all done by Liz Cheney. All Hageman did was not be Liz Cheney.
An environmental attorney. O my. What a step up from Cheney. Maybe she is defending land owners and oil drillers
I’m sure it was quite easy. Just offer the locals to represent them instead of representing the DC Swamp. Liz Cheney had no time for Wyoming. Instead for her it was all about her and how she could advance her own personal agenda.
Lizard beat herself with traitorous words and actions
But congratulations nonetheless. Do something Lizard didn’t do, represent the great people of Wyoming appropriately
They Republicans could have held a statewide drawing of random names and crush Lizard, but Hageman did work hard and took nothing for granted. She will be a great member of Speaker Jordan’s team.
I listened to the Byron York podcast, Hageman seems to have done a lot of good things for Americans. She’s pushed back against government intrusion in our lives. I hope she gets to continue doing so.
We visited Wyoming last year ... loved it ... there’s not many people out there but they deserve someone who represents THEM not herself. Wishing HH well and wish there were more in Congress like her.
I asked a friend who lives in Wyoming and would seem to have reasons to be liberal whether he voted for Cheney. His response? Not for dog catcher or for dog poo scooper.
