Harriet Hageman is the environmental lawyer who defeated incumbent Rep. Liz Cheney by a landslide in Wyoming's much-watched Republican House primary. Hageman, who will surely trounce token Democratic opposition in the general election, is now getting ready to take office. She was in Washington this week — not for that preparation but to argue in a lawsuit against the Environmental Protection Agency over its disastrous actions causing the Gold King Mine disaster in Colorado in 2015. That's the kind of thing she does in her life as a lawyer.

The article says she is involved in a suit with the EPA. The EPA allowed or actively permitted the Gold King Mine tailings dam to flood the pristine Animas river in western Colorado and into New Mexico and the San Juan River.
The resulting pollution effected water supplies and especially tourism. The event occurred in 2015 and she is still after them 7 years on
We visited Wyoming last year ... loved it ... there’s not many people out there but they deserve someone who represents THEM not herself. Wishing HH well and wish there were more in Congress like her.
I asked a friend who lives in Wyoming and would seem to have reasons to be liberal whether he voted for Cheney. His response? Not for dog catcher or for dog poo scooper.
