Russia said Tuesday that it would not resume natural gas flow to the European Union until sanctions are lifted, all but acknowledging that it is intentionally inflicting an energy crisis on Europe as a means of countering Western economic punishment for its invasion of Ukraine...
“It is important to recall that there is not just one gas pipeline from Russia to Europe,” European Commission energy spokesman Tim McPhie said Monday.
“If there was a technical problem which was impeding supplies via Nord Stream 1, there would be a possibility, if there was willingness, to deliver gas to Europe through other pipelines," he said. "That’s something we’re not seeing happening.”...
Gazprom announced it has “indefinitely” cut gas deliveries via Nord Stream 1, citing “equipment issues” at one of its compressor stations. That announcement came hours after the G-7 said Friday that it would implement a planned price cap on Russian oil exports beginning Dec. 5.

EU Soros/Schwab puppets already said they don’t want Russian oil or gas and won’t use it anymore in the future.
So their wishes are being fulfilled.
I feel like Russia has the upper hand. I suspect the sanctions will be lifted at some point, and Ukraine will fold.
Oh well.
Thank you for that Captain Obvious.
Karma is real.
So is reaping what thou hast sown.
‘SANCS A LOT Welcome to sanction-hit Russia, where prices are DOWN as Brits suffer from soaring inflation’

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.🙀🙀
Germany’s finance ministry said: ‘The outlook for the further development (of the economy) is noticeably gloomy.’
You vill eat zee boogs.
I’m curious to see if this will spark European countries to become food, energy, and resource independent. I doubt it but I can hope.
So keep up the sanctions!
> The natural gas shutoff is deliberate Russian policy to inflict pain on European populations. <
Well, yeah. The EU is trying to inflict pain on Russia. Russia is trying to inflict pain on the EU. That’s how adversaries behave. No one should surprised by this.
But the EU is surprised, and oh-so-offended. It’s a childlike response. They fail to understand that punches lead to counterpunches. Trump warned them, but they did not listen.
And I say this with no love of Putin. He’s the one who sent tanks across a sovereign border. He’s a bad guy. But of course he’s not the only one here.
They are going around the sanctions - China buys the fuel from Russia and sells to the Euroweenies.
What about NATO’s unilateral (Russia never attacked NATO) and deliberate attack on Russia? That NATO/US/EU action was boldly predicated on the complete destruction of the entire Russian economy. But that’s OK, we’re spreading the new American Way. How dare Russia respond. The US/NATO/EU destroyed Russia’s ability to be even paid for their gas and the brainiacs in Brussels and DC are flabbergasted when Putin won’t give it away.
The Russians can’t stop gas production, because that would damage wells. They are flaring large quantities of gas.
Let’s see how loud the NATO cheerleaders in Europe are come Christmas. Why should they suffer just because Biden is demented?
So what? It's only Europeans Freezing in the Dark.
I am not surprised. Would we ourselves have sold energy to Germany in WW II? Nope!
Bidenistas are crazy stupid.
Putin to Euro-Greenies...
I know how committed you are to green energy. I am just helping to wean you off evil fossil fuels and help you reach your CO2 emissions goals...
Your welcome!
Looks like you are getting your arse handed to you in the comments BoBo.
Oh look...Europe is about to be starved of energy this winter, and possibly just starved period.
The sanctions are “working” alright.
