NBC tech and culture reporter Kat Tenbarge tweeted how the ongoing water crisis in Jackson, Mississippi, is the result of "environmental racism" but became upset when users pointed out Democrats have been in control for decades and it appears local politicians ignored warning signs.
"I’s the largest city in Mississippi. It’s 80% Black. Their water system is failing because of years of neglect. This is environmental racism," Tenbarge tweeted.
When conservative commentator Stephen L. Miller said Republicans haven't controlled the city for a long time, Tenbarge said, "Oh, that's where all the racists in my mentions came from."

Do they stop to think of what they are actually saying with comments like that?
That is a tacit admission that blacks either cannot or will not maintain what has been given to them.
They complain about white supremacy but are more than happy to avail themselves of what white supremacy has provided them with.

Do you want to spend millions yearly on regular maintenance, or do you want to hand out millions in grants to community-organizing NGOs for hundreds of thousands in kickbacks?

When my daughter was in elementary school, her and a black kid name Michael were always the best students and good friends. When they got to junior high, Michael's grades went to hell in a handbasket. My daughter asked him about it, and he said, "Making good grades is considered being too white in the black community". Sigh.

There is a slim chance Jackson, MS has a Republican mayor between 1865 and 1877, when Reconstruction ended. No chance thereafter.
I’m going out on a limb and guessing that the problems are due to a mix of incompetence and corrupt politicians stealing funds “spent” on water system maintenance and modernization.
