Since 2018, hate crimes against Jews in New York City have resulted in only one perpetrator spending just a single day in jail, according to a report.
An in-depth Sunday piece in the Jewish-centric online magazine Tablet mentioned a report by the group Americans Against Antisemitism that, as the publication put it, “found that of the 118 adults arrested for anti-Jewish hate crimes in New York City since 2018, only one has been convicted and sent to prison.”
Year after year, among religious groups, Jews are the leading target of hate crimes annually in the United States, according to the FBI.
According to Tablet:
"In New York, street harassment, minor assaults, and even full-on beatings of visible Jews are almost a banality now, too frequent over too long of a period to be considered an active crisis, even in the communities most affected. The city reported a 76% year-over-year rise in hate crimes during the first three months of 2022—attacks on Jews more than tripled, accounting for much of the spike. When reached for comment by email, the NYPD’s public information office stated that the Hate Crimes Task Force has made 44 arrests related to attacks on Jews so far in 2022 compared to 33 in all of 2021."
New York City has the largest Jewish population in the United States with 1.1 million.

“Hate” crimes are a violation of Double Jeopardy protections in the Constitution, for starters.
Obviously, Jews are the wrong color.
Within their own enclaves, the Orthodox community has excellent security. The problem is that they for the usual reasons have to go into non secure areas and they make obvious targets. Sort of the same dynamic that exists with Israel in the Mideast.
Almost like hate crimes legislation is optics come selection time for liberal politicians..
When the rubber meets the road, pigment of skin is the real determining factor which hate crimes are more equal than others..

If Jews are still living in NYC they must be gluttons for punishment. There are hardly any Jews left in the Bronx which at one time had a nearly 50% Jewish population in the 1930’s. As it is NYC is now less then 35% non-Hispanic White.
Republicans have been successfully demonized as Nazis and racists, removing them from contention for votes in the eyes of many. People are not going to vote for Nazis because of a crime wave in the neighborhood or a little inflation, or some other inconvenience.

Hasidics and more traditionalist Jews vote Republican. Others who might be less traditionalist, but have a strong bond or feelings toward Israel, also tend to be more Republican.
IMHO it’s these more traditionalist Jews who are being targeted. For one thing, their distinctive dress makes it easy for anti-Semites to identify them as Jews.
Learn the lesson: When government no longer protects you from criminals, or worse, takes the side of the criminals against you, vigilantism results.
They need to bring over some former IDF “tough guys” to form a “hunting party” for carrying out targeted revenge against such assailants.
And as much as you would like to do it, DO NOT create an m.o. or “send a message”. Just kill, using a means common to the area, no different than many other unsolved homicides.
This is Part 1: cleaning up the garbage.
Part 2 is being proactive, identifying those at high risk of offending and encouraging them to leave the area. This includes instigators (mullahs), and financiers if any.
Yes, indeed! They have even told conservatives to leave the state.
So?....What if they choose to stay? What’s next? Forced deportations? Gulags?
