Republican Dr. Mehmet Oz is within striking distance of his radical Democrat opponent John Fetterman in Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race, according to a poll.
In the Susquehanna Polling and Research Poll released Tuesday, Oz drew 44 percent of the response, placing him just five points back of Fetterman, who sat at 49 percent. The remaining seven percent of respondents were undecided or supported a different candidate.

“Can any PA’er’s really be stupid enough to actually vote for this joke, Fetterman? Really?”
In the 1984 Presidential race, Mondale received 46% of the vote in PA. In 1972 McGovern received 39% of the vote in PA. Based on those figures, I’d say the floor for a terrible Dem candidate in a statewide race is 40%, meaning if Joseph Stalin ran on the Dem ticket he’d get 40% of the vote. Fetterman has handlers that are running a very smart race, so I figure as bad as he is (a brain damaged left winger), he’s probably over 45% of the vote.

Yes. Some Pennsylvanians here on FR think he’s better than Oz.
If Fetterman gets 45% of the vote he will win. The PA republican party has yet to deal with democrat voter fraud. If the legal vote is close be assured that Dem controlled high population areas of (Philly & Pittsburgh) will give Fetterman the extra votes he needs to win.
And never mind mail in...if you can possibly vote in person....it may be the key to killing the "cheat" votes.
Liking the way OZ is picking up on the attacks had my doubts for awhile about him.
Amen
Oz is closing in on Fetterman, Walker is closing in on Warlock, Laxalt seems to be gaining ground, so the trend line is moving in the Republicans’ direction.
I remember calling Jim Buckley’s win in 1970 right around this time of year and I remember calling Larry Hogan’s victory over Anthony Brown in 2018. Why? I saw how the trend line was moving.
Maybe all the bad news from a week ago was a good “wake up call” for our side.
I’m not sure i’d call 5 points ‘striking distrance.’
But, I expect things to tighten up as we get closer to the election. Oz has a real shot at this but it’s going to be tough.
Yes, and many of us are awaiting the day when that bitch croaks.
It can’t come a moment too soon.
It’s fairly well established now that her (estranged) father was a Jap soldier , killing Americans in WW2.
The Hawaii electorate will not wake up until there’s a ChiCom fleet visible offshore. That day may come.
Hawaii is t bg e classic example of what you get when you fill a community with immigrants and they then command the right to vote majority.
I heard BJ Penn is running for Governor, and is polling well.
Is that true?
“And, there’s always the hope that Fetterman’s health issues will lead to a short stay in government.”
The only problem with that is Governor Shapiwo getting to appoint Drooling Uncle Fester’s replacement, then delaying the special election as long as possible (unless the Democrat appointee is a shoo-in to be elected).
Dr. Oz wins in Pa. Hershel Walker wins in Ga. John Kennedy of La. or Ted Cruz of Tx, or Ron Johnson of Wi become Majority Leader. Screw the Turtle.
“What a stroke of good luck“
Ouch that left a red mark!
Or a lump on his neck.
Fetterman is kind of stuck : he can’t possible debate Oz (or anyone really) because of his Stroke and if he avoids debates it makes him look weak. Not that I want the Dems to win but he should just step down due to health problems and let the dnc replace him with another candidate
Frank Lautenberg is rested and ready to take over.
