Biden takes heat for spending 40 percent of his days in office ‘on vacation’

WASHINGTON — Maybe it’s all he ever wanted.

President Biden is taking heat for spending 40% of his days in office “on vacation” after he was away from the White House for two-thirds of August.

Biden’s weekend jaunts and vacations spanned 234 days — with seven in 10 of them spent at his homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware — out of 589 days in office.

RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told The Post that Republicans believe it’s a winning campaign issue — alongside concerns over the effects of Biden-era spending, including Democrats’ $1.9 trillion stimulus package last year and this year’s $437 billion environmental and health care bill.

TBH, I’d prefer 100% vacation days.

I’d take that only if they don’t lock him up 100% of the time in the Dementia Ward.

Actually, given I’ve seen the policies he’s coming out with, that’s probably a good thing.

"with seven in 10 of them spent at his homes in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware"

Too bad we can't get a hold of the visitor logs.

In reality he is not running things, so he is not needed except to sign documents. This is just further proof of that. He is nothing more than a puppet.

Biden is an accessory. A mere public face for the people who are actually making the decisions. The same people were running things in 2008-2016 and used Barack Hussein as their spokesperson during those years.

The administration of Bush the Younger was very similar. I fear this is going to be the pattern going forward — very few presidents will be the actual person in charge at the White House.

The senile Sleepy Joe puppet spent almost 100% of his Presidential "campaign" hiding in his basement during the 2020 Stolen Election year. So the claim that he supposedly spent as little as "40%" of his days in office "on vacation" would amount to a huge increase in his "work ethic" since his 2020 Stolen Election year. However, my guess is that senile Sleepy Joe's time spent doing actual work is maybe 5% at most (i.e., similar to the amount of time he actually did any "work" during his Presidential "campaign").

Even when Biden is at work does anyone really believe he makes any decisions or sets the agenda for his administration? The only thing Biden decides is what flavor of ice cream he eats that day.

Biden could be on vacation 100% of the time and we’d still be in this mess created by the deep state.

With his stamina and cognitive problems I would be surprised if he can concentrate 2 hours a day on anything. He is just told where to go and what to read, and that is it. Tomorrow nights speech will be another Biden Disaster and we all know it.

Anyone taking bets on how he will work Beau into the speech?????????? Will Jill be wearing another of her Hooker Outfits with Fishnet Stockings?

I still remember in my youth when the democrat news media screamed because Eisenhower played “too much Golf” while in office.

Biden probably does less damage while on ‘vacation.’

Yeah, and when Trump took a day off to golf during a lull in the covid nonsense, the photographers were there and made sure that every person living and dead saw the pictures.

Yes, but "vacation" frees up some of the people who otherwise have to scurry around trying to prevent gaffes, damage control when they come out anyway, etc.
