Nolte: Only 28% Say Electric Vehicles Are ‘Practical’
Breitbart ^ | 08/31/2022 | John Notle

Posted on 08/31/2022 8:25:13 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

A Rasmussen survey of 1,000 adults shows only 28 percent believe electric vehicles are “practical for most drivers.” Meanwhile, a clear majority of 54 percent say they are not. Eighteen percent are unsure.

When asked to look a decade into the future, which will be just a few years before California outlaws gas-powered vehicles, a whopping 69 percent say it is “very” (37 percent) or “somewhat” (32 percent) likely that most cars will run primarily on gasoline. Only 23 percent disagree.

“Where am I going to drive it? ;)”

Where do I get gas?

Model-T’s were rolling off the line before the first service station was built.

My comment applies to the 28% who Most Likely are NOT STEM educated since post I was referring to called them STUPID!

So in regards to the 28%, would you prefer, Sponge, Leach, Parasite, Gender Studies Major, or Slacker?

Vacations: 200 miles range on 20 minute charge gives an east 4-500 miles per day. Who really wants to travel more than that everyday on vacation.

I think you are out touch with reality with this post. A husband and wife team can easily drive 1K miles a day to show their children national parks in the west or where ever they decide to make a road trip..

So test drive an EV Kona, you have the extra money lying around to buy one. But as in all EVs, park it outdoors please.

An EV would be perfect for my soon to be ex-wife. She lives and works in town, plus she works 3rd shift. Her commute is less than a mile. Most shopping is less than 10 miles. Other shopping is 25-30 miles.

I have a BS and MS in Engineering and I resent you calling fellow creepers “Damn Woke Retards”.

As does my son. He, like his old man, know EV's aren't viable anytime soon and only have 'traction' thanks to the Feds.

btw, when you gonna put your 'lectrons where your keyboard is? Greta is still waiting for you to sell your Roush.

Reread your post. You emphasized “ZERO”.

Bye, what is your major?

He is out of touch with reality.

I can drive from Boston to Omaha in one go, stopping for fuel and tapping a kidney. I'm a man possessed to get where I gotta be as quickly as possible.

Model-T’s were rolling off the line before the first service station was built.

Still holding onto that myth, I see.

I've 'splained it to you before in the endless ICE vs. EV battle, yet you refuse to understand how gas was available during the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Why did round one of EV's go extinct in 1939 after decades of manufacture? Was it the free market or the Feds that drew the curtain on them back then?

Any New idea should be challenged. I have no problem with that. That's how you work out the bugs.
Most folks have no idea what it takes to develope a new idea, let alone what is involved with releasing a automobile.
I however love my work :)

No myth. Since our grid is far more substantial than gas supplies back then you surely must say that it is adequate for EV’s.

“So you don’t have a degree in math or engineering?

My son does and I guarantee you he's forgotten more about cars/engines than you'll ever know. He's fascinated with rotary engines and is now trying to improve their design.

Me? Chemistry, computer science, and reality.

I was overhauling engines over 50 years ago. Don’t be so cocky.

Why RV manufacturers aren’t screaming bloody murder about EV mandates is beyond me.
