Seven more Republican leaders have announced their endorsement for Pennsylvania's Democratic candidate for governor Josh Shapiro, following photos of GOP state Sen. Doug Mastriano wearing a Confederate military uniform.
This comes one month after nine Republicans vowed to support the Democratic candidate and called Mastriano an "extremist" who threatens American democracy.
According to a statement released by the Shapiro campaign on Tuesday, the group includes Michael Chertoff, the former US Secretary of Homeland Security under President George W. Bush, and Mario Civera, a former state representative.
Shapiro, the state's attorney general said he was proud to receive the endorsement from these GOP leaders "who are putting our Commonwealth ahead of partisan politics in order to come together and move Pennsylvania forward."
In the press release, Chertoff, the former US Secretary of Homeland Security said while he's a long-standing Republican, he is "deeply troubled by Doug Mastriano's embrace of dangerous extremism."
"Josh Shapiro, on the other hand, is a staunch defender of our democratic institutions and will lead Pennsylvania with honor and integrity. I am proud to support his campaign for Governor," Chertoff said.

Worthless RINOs.
He’ll never make any enemies
He won’t complain if he’s caught in a freeze
He’ll always ask, he’ll always say please
Beautiful loser, never take it all
‘Cause it’s easier, faster when you fall
You just don’t need it all
Oh, oh, you just don’t need it all

Here’s an example of why the GOP gets called The Stupid Party.
Dwight Eisenhower had Robert E Lee’s portrait displayed in his White House office. Some clown objected to that but even he wasn’t enough of a fool to compare the Confederacy to German Nazis. That level of stupidity is something new.
Much more likely, a re-enactor. That is an honorable and long-standing hobby.
Where the HELL is all the money Trump is getting?? Trump NEEDS to support these candidates he had HUGE donations after the raid on his home they said it was THE MOST MONEY ever made WTH!!!
Look again. Front row, right side. Unless he dresses weird normally, that’s a historical uniform.
Patty Murray in Washington state ran an advertisement against Tiffany Smiley using a photo of Smiley with Trump and saying how Smiley is pro-life.
Smiley is now running an add showing that same photo of her and Trump, and then another one of her with Murray and said something clever about it.
Tiffany is pro-life, but is against any national abortion ban. (It’s a states right thing).

To win PA, were going to need more than just the MAGAs support in the state. I will support both PA candidates with more $$ im afraid you will need to as well. Mastriano doesn’t have near the money at his disposal to defend himself as Shapiro does!
I know......I just hope someone floods his campaign with enough money to see him through......and prayer......lots of prayers.
Let me know when you find the perfect candidate. Even King David was not perfect.
Civil War reenactment.
To clarify, I’m referring to the “Republicans” who have turned on Mastriano, as cowards.
So silly. These people are not serious people.
“To clarify, I’m referring to the “Republicans” who have turned on Mastriano, as cowards.”
I understand. But I think you’re light on determining the continual line of failures in our federal government down to the lowest dog catcher. It is both sides of the aisle. And the count of republicans is way bigger than just those seven as a large majority of the rest are contributory of the failure of getting people into the offices that can do something in the voters’ favor and not the politicians. Your heart’s in the right place, but this is politics at its dirtiest.

So? I’ve worn one. Kind of useless if I didn’t during a Battle of Franklin reenactment.
Would be silly with only Union Army pretending to shoot at nothing.
