Ukrainians Forbidden From Accepting Russian Aid
Armstrong Economics ^ | 29 Aug 22 | Martin Armstrong

Ukrainians are not permitted to accept any humanitarian relief from Russian agencies. Civilians in a war zone could face life imprisonment for accepting relief, including food. Ministry of Internal Affairs Alyona Matveeva said each case would be analyzed separately. “For example, if a person called to support the military of the Russian Federation or provided some information, took humanitarian aid (from the Russians – ed.) and distributed it – this is one punishment, if it is about some more serious actions of a person, for example, when a person’s collaborative activity had such an impact that someone died because of it – the term in this case can be more serious, even up to life imprisonment,” the spokeswoman said.

There are currently 815 ongoing criminal investigations for breaching national security, treason, and collaborationism. This is simply what is occurring in Ukraine, but anyone in a country that has joined the proxy war found aiding Russia could come under fire. I reported on the signs around Estonia’s border, asking people to report anyone suspected of collaborating with the enemy. We have not learned from history. This is another example of the government turning neighbors against one another. The Soviet Union once employed the same tactics, as did many other regimes. These measures simply cause distrust and paranoia to spread as the government expects the people to spy on their own family and friends. Your neighbor is now a potential enemy, and your own actions may be considered suspicious.

A very well done boots on the ground imbedded in the video on this subject. I do believe the Ukies are souring on St Zelensky, starvation tends to bring about revolts….so a political ouster of the corrupted comedian, or military?

Even though Crimea has been predominantly pro-Russian since day one, Donbas was mixed until a few years later. Now it is militantly pro-Russian because Ukraine is so good at winning hearts and minds.

“...militantly pro-Russian...”

The Donbas people HATE the Russians. Don’t believe your own propaganda.

Yup..the Ukrainians have a history about that.

Wolyn and all that.

Polish friend who got to see that first hand said that there are two peoples in eastern Europe who manged to kill more people in the same amount of time than the Germans did. The Russians and the Ukrainians.

They hate the Russians just like the Russians are shelling themselves while sheltering at the nuclear power plant.

What do they hate Russia for? Is it for rape and torture committed by the Ukronazi sondercommandos well-documented by OSCE? Or maybe everyday shelling, stolen pensions and absent government services?

If you are a Donbas person why would you like Ukraine and hate Russians?

The same conversion is taking place in Kherson for the same reason.

He has a point but is obviously biased. Russian bloodthirstiness is way over advertised, and the Germans still kill more than Ukrainians.

What do you know about Moscow boy? My people in the Donbas know the real story. You project all the sins of Russia on the Ukrainians but when one lives the reality one is not swayed by Moscow propaganda.

You always reply with slogans without addressing any of my arguments, a clear sign of propagandism.

Can you please answer the question I asked? Just why? I understand that Ukrainian propaganda is toxic for the purpose of destruction of critical thinking, but it is too much.

Well, of course. The Ukes go to all the trouble of shelling their own people, it looks bad for the Russians to come in and help them.

The Donbas people HATE the Russians.

That is true, however, it only applies to the Nazis in that region, not the Russian speaking people. Otherwise, why would they have voted for Autonomy?

The Russian speaking Ukrainian people like my friends and family there did not vote for autonomy. The fake “separatist” movement was a Russian show from the beginning. The Russians used agents, threats, bribes, mafia tactics, and finally troops to get the land grab going. And don’t forget that the bravest Ukrainians were just “disappeared” in the Latin American dirty war sense of the word.

What sort of independent republic would make teachers, hospital workers, civil engineers, and bureaucrats join the party? The party is called UNITED RUSSIA. So now they don’t even hide the truth of the land grab.

Yet Putin advised against them voting for autonomy, and refused to accept it until just before the invasion. Does that make sense? Not quite the same story you are telling me.

What is needed is a peace agreement, not continuation of the hostilities. With concessions from both sides of the conflict. But the U.S. will not allow that to take place. After all, the U.S. was complicit for starting this whole ball of wax to take place in the first place.

You filthy liar. How can one answer a question that is predicated on Ukrainian Nazis being a force in the Donbas. In towns like Lugansk the Nazi-like occupiers were and are the Russian invaders. And you are like the Nazi Julius Streicher spreading lies and hate.

I don’t know. I think the important thing is, we, the US, emblems of wholesome goodness and fair play, must have the final say on what happens, 4,000 miles away from our pristine, exceptional shores.

We must assert this moral authority because the track record we’ve established on such activities is well established, well earned and irrefutable and is playing out on the world stage in all it’s glory.

Do some research on why the US Congress voted to recognize Azov regiment a terrorist organization and prohibited Pentagon from aiding it. Then show me the Russians doing something like this. Media speculations do not count. You are living in a 1984 world. Yesterday, Azov Nazis were recognized war criminals, rapists and murderers. Now, they say that Ukrainian Nazis are a fiction of Russian propaganda and they are all patriots instead. Ignore the facial swastikas on senior officers.

One must divorce Putin’s political statements from his actions. Statements can be for show and the actions are for the go.

There will be no peace until the Russians are driven out and the continuation of Stalin’s replacement of the Ukrainian population ceases.

Russia worked for 8 years to reintegrate Donbas back into Ukraine on terms Donbas people considered too pro-Ukrainian.
Ukraine rejected even this because its sponsors told them so.
If you would like to drive the Russians out then you are welcome to come and die trying.

Well, that’s pretty dumb. Making the Russians have to supply civvies makes them *weaker* not stronger.

I think that is the problem, we do not give Putin a chance. Russia has changed considerably, and it no longer is the USSR in any way shape or form.
