Although Oregon has long been a blue stronghold, political analysts say the state’s gubernatorial race is no sure thing, the Baker City Herald reported Tuesday.
Most recently, the University of Virginia’s Center for Politics changed the race from “Leans Democratic” to “Toss-up,” pointing to the volatile nature of potentially splitting a governor’s race between three candidates.

May God almighty move in the state of Oregon and remove this wicked woman. Amen
She’s not running.
2 dems and 1 pub running
Thank God.
The thought of Kate Brown and a three-way made me throw up in my mouth a little.
Lol, as it would any normal person.
I am voting for Christine Drazen. Tina Koteck and Betsy whatever can go grift elsewhere.
I don’t want to picture that three-way, either.
Well, maybe clothed.
Betsy Johnson, after being a Democrat for 20 years, has officially gotten on the ballot as an Independent. This gives the Republican Christine Drazan a chance of winning. A possibility....do we ever need a change!
On the contrary, Betsy is a spoiler. If it were Kotec against any R she would lose.
Johnson & Kotec were instrumental in getting Brown’s hidden sales tax passed. Yes, Oregon, thanks to the “D’s”, now has a sales tax.
A local chain hardware store lists the tax on your receipt. Fred Meyer, Costco or any other large retailers do not list the sales tax you are paying.
The people of Oregon will get the government they deserve. Too bad the place will continue to be referred to as the State of Oregon rather than the Democratic People’s Republic of Oregon or the Soviet Socialist People’s Republic or Oregon.
With a little bit of luck, that part of the Rim of Fire running from Baja California through Washington State will have a bunch of simultaneous earthquakes and volcanic eruptions to solve the vermin problem in the states on the Left Coast.
May God Almighty give these godless heathens what they deserve, good and hard.
That’s cute, it’s already been decided, votes do not matter.
Its 100% mail in voting in Oregon, they already have a winner
You mean maggot perv she-governor Brownstain? aka as Brownshirt?
OR only leans “blue” because of stolen elections for at least 20 years. There were two attempts at recalling this bitch, and of course demsheviks in control said “no no no, lots of ineligible signatures”.
All mail in, sanctuary state, voter motor laws, illegals can get licences, and voila....
Only people who don't live here spew that nonsense. I've lived here for 30 years. See my comment above. OR has the dirtiest elections in the country along with WA, CA, probably NY state and more recently, CO. We don't deserve to have stolen elections.
My wife lived in Portland for 30 years. It used to be a really pretty city. It is now worse than any of the third world hell holes in which I served our nation.
Question: How did you end up with Kate Brown as your governor? The answer is the people of WhOregon got what they deserved.
So, do you think Johnson will draw more Democrats or Republicans? Perhaps, the huge number of unaffiliated will give more votes to Johnson, taking them away from Drazan?
“...taking them away from Drazen.” I think that is the point of Johnson running.
Johnson will draw democrats who would otherwise voted for Drazen. This gives them the democrat moral of not ever voting R. Some Portlanders are miffed at Johnson who played on the “City of Roses” with the “City of Roaches”. The unaffiliated will vote Drazen if they are given information.
If not for corrupt Portland news, Kate Brown would never have been governor.
I would definitely take Johnson over Kotec but Johnson’s voting record isn’t all that good either. A lot of people do not know we have a hidden sales tax in Oregon. Johnson voted for it. Drazen’s ads are pointing this out.
I have sent Drazen’s campaign some money and will send some more. Washington and Ca may well be lost causes already. Oregon has a last chance here.
I’m also going to send money to Drazan, Stout and Weber. Went to a gathering for Stout and Weber and picked up campaign signs. Stout seemed fairly positive with good polling numbers in his district. That would make him the first Republican as my representative in many years.
Of course, the Democrats can always get the votes they need for a win...real or not.
