Trump slams Biden student loan handout as 'election enhancing money grab': 'Stop voting for Democrats!'

President Donald Trump slammed President Biden for orchestrating "another election enhancing money grab" with his move to cancel millions of dollars in student loan debt, warning that working-class Americans will foot the bill, while urging voters to "stop voting for Democrats."

"Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats have just orchestrated another election enhancing money grab, this time to the tune of $300,000,000,000 — and just like I predicted, it’s coming right out of the pocket of the working-class Americans who are struggling the most!" Trump said Thursday in a statement. "Crippling inflation, unaffordable energy prices, and WAR — all things that should never have happened."

"But if that wasn’t enough, now Americans are bailing out College Administrators who fleeced students, and those who opted for Degrees there was no way they could afford," Trump continued. "America is a nation in decline, and the cliff into oblivion is within sight."

He added: "Stop voting for Democrats! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Its funny how Twitter banned President Trump, yet President Trump is using Truth Social to effectively get his message out.

But, won’t the recipients of the $10,000 now be under scrutiny from the new 87,000 IRS agents, and they will have to pay taxes on it? Granted, that would be less than the loan, and they probably won’t pay that either.

The federal loan forgiveness gifts are tax exempt to the recipients. Double their pleasure.

Trump seems to be the only republican actively working / running against Biden and his policies.

My prediction is that this 100% unconstitutional tuition-amnesty proffer will be used to paint the GOP in yet another iteration of “throw grandma over the cliff” should it pass.

But >IF< it passes, you can bet your bottom dollar that full-on slavery reparations will become the “thing” for next year. They will get this going and by mid-year there will be demonstrations & riots in the streets.

If we had an opposition party, they would sue to stop this.

But, like DACA, they won’t.

DACA could have been killed before it got started, but the GOP wanted amnesty any way they could get it.

Because he is, most of the “Republicans” we have elected are Assistant Democrats.

Actulally all student loans should be forgiven -- but the obligation to repay should be laid upon the colleges that gave the students all those worthless degrees. The banking institutions should be authorized to foreclose on those institutions of higher learning that can't repay and liquidate them. It would have a salutary effect upon American higher education.

And then the whole federal loan program should be repealed and liquidated once and for all.

This is not proposed legislation. Biden just ordered it without any legal authority. Congress is not involved.

So, I have a question. Does this foregiveness only apply to those who already have loans? My oldest daughter, 20, is going into her junior year, and has loans, so she gets the money. My middle daughter doesn’t have loans, since she won’t start college until next month. Does she get the $10k? My youngest daughter has four years until she starts college. Will she get the $10K. If so, isn’t this now a new entitlement with the government handing every kid who goes to college $10k, which would clearly be government spending only creatable by the legislature? If not, how are my younger two daughters going to feel when their older sister gets $10k, and they don’t? How fair is this?

Thanks; I’m out of the loop on this piece of news. It’s actually worse as an EO, same kind of effect as Roe v Wade “we had it fair and square and then we lost it”...should an effective challenge be launched. It’s a horrible precedent, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you.

Yo paraphrase Gov DeSantis, why on earth should a truck driver pay off the loans of some fool who took on massive loans to get a PhD in gender studies?

The forgiveness is only for federal student loans originating prior to July 1, 2022.

Your daughter with loans prior to July 1, 2022 would only get forgiveness if YOUR household income is less than $250K (not hers), if she’s a dependent on your tax return.

It’s not considered fed income thru 2025.
