NAACP CEO: Biden's reported plan to cancel student debt isn't enough

With the simple stroke of a pen, President Biden has the unique opportunity to unlock financial freedom for countless Black Americans and low-income communities. But according to CNN reporting, he might cancel just $10,000 of student loan debt per borrower for those earning less than $125,000 a year. That would do little to help.

Many privileged and predominantly White Americans, who inherited generational wealth, have had the fortune of not depending on expensive loans to begin with.

This “privileged” white person is the grandson of an Irish immigrant who lived in a soddy on the plains of South Dakota. I remember popcorn for dinner and a school lunch consisting of a butter sandwich. Orphaned early I inherited no inter generational wealth. Worked at a gas station at age of 16 and have worked since. The hell with these two income redistributors
