Not arguing, but just sad at the state of things. I was able once to hitch a ride in GSMNP, in a heavy snowstorm, when I really needed a break. I got a lift in less than 5 minutes, and was so grateful. Crimes like this make it much more difficult for decent people to approach strangers for help.
Ask the Waco Kid.
In that area it would be common.
I know it well.
It’s unfortunate, but if that five year old has your 20 year
friend and father of three in his sights, you gotta do what
you’ve gotta do.
Imagine leaving a loaded shotgun around for your five year
old to wield.
Thank the deep state.
Its about to get rough. The USA in the 80’s was about as good as the 50’s as far as I can tell.
Enter one William Jefferson Clinton to blow it up.
That lesson was learned in Vietnam, though that usually involved live grenades.
It started the day Reagan left the White House.
Yes.
I did things in 1987 that I would never do today.
There always have been dangerous people but they were few and far between. Today we are surrounded by them.
In 1946-1949 I stood on the same corner at 11:00 PM every Sunday night for three years, hitching a ride back to the university. (Did four years in three).
I would not stand on that same corner at 11:00 PM in this day and time if I could carry a machine gun.
So ‘47 or ‘87 can’t be our guide for today.
I have some fond memories of being up in the foothills and checking out some old cars in Townsend, TN.
Just that old lamp over the garage is a picture of good times.
I am lucky to have that.
yup
that is help you can do safely
"Dindu Nuffin" clause of the 14th Amendment.
Charitably, he might be trying to make sure the case is airtight and not give the defense any shot at getting it thrown out because of anything said pre-trial.
Uncharitably? He doesn’t want the info on the perps getting out. Doesn’t fit the narrative (even though we all knew it).

Good story amigo. My old stompin ground.
Tough area back in the day. Probably could write a book.
Memories are rich for the area. I miss it.
From numerous articles I have read lately, journalists nowadays don't seem to know the difference between a national park and national forest. The former are run by the Department of Interior and national forests by the Department of Agriculture.
how can we live with such people?.....
Four coups in my lifetime that I know of...Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan, and now Trump....one democrat and the rest pubs....
All 5 year old’s!
They may not really understand what they are doing, but they are all capable if taught by mommy or daddy!
