Trump haters immediately fell for the Department of Justice’s media spin over Donald Trump’s seized passports before the former president’s team proved it false.
On Monday, former President Trump claimed on his social media site TruthSocial that the FBI “stole” his passports during the raid on his home that shook the political world last week.
“In the raid by the FBI of Mar-a-Lago, they stole my three Passports (one expired), along with everything else,” he said. “This is an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before in our Country. Third World!”
Hours later, Norah O’Donnell of CBS News said that a DOJ official told that the former president’s passports were not in their possession, one of which presumably would have been a diplomatic passport.

More likely, that they will parrot what one party tells them, while denying anything the other party tells them. I’ll let you decide which party is which. 🙂
The bottom line to 90% of the “news” is that there should be a chyron with a DNC logo and disclaimer that the “news” is a paid “DONATION IN KIND TO THE DEMOCRAT PARTY” on every broadcast.

Part of the plan. To think twice about anything means you’re wrong the first time. Who’s gonna admit they’re wrong?
The problem is the fact that Trump is essentially being held incommunicado. Sure, he’s got Truth but no one sees that. On Twitter he would get tens of millions of hits. On Truth he gets ten or twenty thousand. As far as numbers go, sites like FR are insignificant. The government/media axis can lie as much as they like. 150 million Americans hear the unchallenged lies, a million or two choir members actually hear Trump’s truthful responses and allegations. Trump needs to start buying national ads on TV to get his message out (until he is unconstitutionally blocked from that too). He has a war chest and we will send what we can to get his voice heard.
The lying corrupt DOJ makes a statement that says the passports “were not in their possession” leading people to believe Trump was lying.
They were in the possession of the DOJ because they TOOK them during the RAID and only returned because Trump went public with the news.

They did steal his 3 passports, and the FIB is forced to return them. Note that they also were not on the seizure inventory list.

Absolutely true. Too many here think that our point of view is the same as the general public’s when we are just a tiny fraction of the populace. The vast majority of people (even those who are avid news junkies) will never see or hear the information that gets posted here.
The major media and Hollywood still largely control the narratives in the public sphere.
Why do these reports all put “stole” in quotes. They did steal his passports. They did not include them in the list of what they took, and have now admitted they have them.
The media is so subtle these days. They are so convincing we all fall for their spin, which we believe implicitly. We all love to pay money for their clever agitprop. That is exactly why boom times are here for our beloved legacy media! 😉

the way Truth Social is expanding - now including android, computer platforms - i expect it is more tailormade for DJT’s audience. Twitter is dead for conservatives most having migrated.
