Now that Russia has captured most mineral and energy resources in the eastern areas, once Russia extends their new territory to encompass the entire sea coast, Ukraine will become a land-locked state.
I expect a new nation will be created as a buffer between Russia and NATO.
That should be enough to pay for Ukraine’s liberation. Good deal.
