Attorney General Merrick Garland revealed Thursday that he “personally approved” requesting the search warrant that triggered Monday’s unprecedented raid on the Florida home of former President Donald Trump and revealed the Justice Department had asked a federal magistrate judge to unseal copies of the warrant — if Trump and his legal team do not object.
“The Department filed the motion to make public the warrant and receipt in light of the former president’s public confirmation with the search, the surrounding circumstances, and the substantial public interest in this matter,” Garland told reporters.
“Faithful adherence to the rule of law is the bedrock principle of the Justice Department and of our democracy, upholding the rule of law means applying the law evenly without fear or favor. under my watch, that is precisely what the Justice Department is doing,” he continued.
Garland, who spoke for four minutes and took no questions, confirmed that copies of the search warrant and FBI property receipt were given to Trump’s attorneys on Monday and added that they were “on site during the search.”
The Attorney General also addressed the recent “unfounded attacks” towards the FBI and Department of Justice in the aftermath of the search, saying he “will not stand by silently when their integrity is unfairly attacked.”
“The men and women of the FBI and the Justice Department are dedicated, patriotic public servants. Every day they protect the American people from violent crime, terrorism and other threats to their safety while safeguarding our civil rights. They do so at great personal sacrifice and risk to themselves. I am honored to work alongside them.”

No, it was a Federal Magistrate, the differences:
Many individuals wonder why there are two types of federal judges and what the difference is between them. A magistrate judge is appointed by the District court judges to serve a renewable term of ten years. They are much more limited in the matters that they can handle. They cannot try or sentence a person on a felony case.

I can't see twitter on this machine. According to the news this morning (Real America's Voice and Newsmax) Christina Bobb says she was *NOT* shown a copy of the Warrant except from 10 feet away where she couldn't really read it.
She claims she was the Trump Lawyer that was on the premises when the raid occurred.
Every citizen violates at least two federal felonies each and every day. All federal prosecutions are based on someone in the gov’t targeting a citizen for whatever reasons the federal spook has. Maybe some guy just made a pass at the fed’s wife? Or cut him off in traffic? Or didn’t kiss the Fed’s @$$ like the fed wanted? Any of those are enough for some fed freak to persecute someone.

Some speculation has the causal wording within the search warrant as very damning. If Trump puts it out, the rumours spread based on FBI speculation.
If nothing was found, it goes away with no nasty rumours spread.

That right there speaks volumes about how contrived this raid was. The attorneys were no threat whatsoever to anyone. There is no reason they shouldn’t have been allowed to remain in the house.
The person who inserted “where possible” into his statement opened a big can of worms.
Not a whole lot of info coming out of the Trump camp. Maybe letting the Dems step all over themselves first. If so, so far so good.
