Where is the affidavit? That is the key document that provides the basis for the raid.

By not presenting the warrant to the lawyers on the scene is it still technically legal? They botched it up from the get-go. They were going for information and information turned into a panty raid.

My guess is that the search took so long because they were expecting to find documents in the safe, but got Geraldo'd. They then realized that if they were doing something as huge as executing a search warrant on a former President, things might turn out badly if they didn't find what they came for, so they started looking everywhere.

If they didn't find what they came for, they'll try to hide that fact for as long as they possible can because they'll look like idiots.

Trump says the ball was in their court. DOJ is responsible for the paperwork and what can and cannot be released. Garland authorized the release of the warrant and the list of items taken. He did not release the affidavit, which remains sealed.

Oh maybe it’s just that simple. Their hatred for this guy is over the top they become irrational. Merrick Garland should be on drugs. His mission in life is to destroy Donald J Trump. And even if it’s for jaywalking.
