I have no idea what Anne Heche has been doing with her life, but I don’t wish her any ill. I always figured she was more than a little confused.

She was sort of a big deal (I don’t think ever really a major star) back in the 1990’s. She was most famous for apparently going from straight and dating some of the top Hollywood male stars, to a lesbian and dating Ellen Degeneres, then breakup up with Ellen and claiming she was straight again. But I don’t think she has really done anything of note in the last 20 years.

Speaking as a Hollywood/LA ‘expat’... Hollywood already eats its own, and that’s assuming they start off with a normal background. Someone with a background like that almost never survives.

Immediately prior to this accident, she crashed into a condo/apartment garage and the interior of her car was photographed by a concerned citizen. There was a bottle of vodka next to the gearshift and the witness reported she smelled of alcohol, IIRC. She then drove away at a high rate of speed and we know what happened next.

After her breakaway from Ellen, she went back to dating men. She said her time with Ellen was because she was mentally ill. That was not pleasing to the LGBTQP types.

Anne Heche seems like a very sad and troubled woman - fortunately that she didn’t kill or injure anyone else on her drunk-driving spree. Severe burns are something I would wish on no one. Best wishes for this woman, and hopefully she recovers.

The first crash was low speed into the corner of a building - it was not enough to seriously affect the car’s function. Basically, just dented the front of the car.
