Nearly 60% believe it will do nothing or drive inflation up.
A dismal 12% of Americans believe that the gargantuan Democratic-sponsored "Inflation Reduction Act" will actually reduce inflation, according to a new poll released this week.
The Economist/YouGov poll, which queried 1,500 U.S. adults, asked respondents their feelings on the $369 billion "Inflation Reduction Act" currently making its way through Congress this week.
Just 12% of respondents said the bill would "decrease inflation," while 36% expressed a belief that it would actually increase it. Twenty-three percent said the bill would do nothing either way, while the remaining 29% were unsure.
A bare 51% majority, meanwhile, said they actually supported the bill — which includes heavy investments in green energy and a tax hike on large corporations — while nearly 1/3 were opposed, and the remaining 17% were unsure.

I wonder if the 12% also believe it will increase penis growth.
They should ask if they know it will increase IRS staff size by over 50%?

This is why I keep voting for the lesser of two evils in the GOP. This bill would not have passed a Congress controlled by Republicans. Despise them as much as I do, the GOP still does less harm than the Democrats. We will be dealing with the negative consequences of this horrible legislation for decades, and American freedom and prosperity will be lessened.

12% = 81 million votes. Easy peasy. 😂🙌

51% support of the bill in this poll. Given the source and the “adults” sample they rigged the hell out of this poll to get to the 51%.

Sure it will reduce inflation, just like dousing a fire with gasoline is the best way to put it out.

And all the money we spend on Climate change items....will not change climate one bit.
Just one of those things....No one knows what the temperature of the earth should be at any point in time.
Does anyone think floods will stop, droughts will stop, hurricanes will stop...Of course not...

"Just 12% of Americans believe the 'Inflation Reduction Act' will actually reduce inflation" And aside from being used as a "talking point", not a single politician in Congress gives a damn!!!!

The “inflation Reduction Act’ will reduce inflation the same way that the “Affordable Care Act” made health care affordable.

Milk is $5.99 a gallon in southeastern Pa. WTF! 1-1/2 years ago it was $2.00 a gallon. This may have put the nail the working man /women’s coffin. These people are despicable!
