SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- Holy breaking news, Batman, in the criminal case involving a replica of the Batmobile from that 1960s TV show. The San Mateo County District Attorney has called off the arraignment for the Batmobile builder from Indiana, who's facing two criminal charges in a dispute with a wealthy realtor from Atherton.
San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe is taking that action, after watching the first two I-Team Batmobile investigations.
In our exclusive interview, Wagstaffe told the I-Team's Dan Noyes he wants to personally review the case, hear once again from both the Batmobile builder and the buyer, and decide if the case should actually be dismissed.
Wagstaffe is canceling the Aug. 19 hearing for Mark Racop, a minister and owner of a garage in Indiana that builds replica Batmobiles.
Wagstaffe saw our I-Team investigations over the past week, questioning why San Mateo County Sheriff Carlos Bolanos sent four investigators more than 2,200 miles to Logansport, Indiana, to raid Racop's garage.
Dan Noyes: "What role did your office play in the planning or the approval of the raid?"
Steve Wagstaffe:"Zero."
Dan Noyes: "You didn't know that they were going to be sending a team to Indiana?"
Steve Wagstaffe: "No, not at all."

To make matters worse, I hear Batgirl is out of a job....
And the Joker went wild
Holy California Corruption Batman!
I want one.
Jingle Bells
Batman smells
Robin laid an egg
Batmobile
Lost its wheel
And the Joker got away...hey!
LOL!!! That was great! I had no idea there were so many.
The Green Hornet was a complete knock off of Batman ... even the music. The complete episodes are on youtube.
How can a Sheriff’s office in CA, request, obtain and execute a search warrant or take ANYONE into custody in IN or outside of their jurisdiction generally?
Wouldn’t Indiana law enforcement be the ones to take any search or arrest action in Indiana?
This smells to high hell.
It seems like the man in Indiana may have potential legal action options against this Sheriff’s office.
Good question.
No. She got a new job working in the Wuhan Take Out restaurant in Wuhan, Red China.
A sentence I never thought I would see outside a comic book.
I believe “Batman” and “The Green Hornet” TV series in the 1960’s had the same producers.
One time on “The Green Hornet” a criminal was watching TV.
Another criminal asked him what he was watching and the first
criminal said, “Batman.”
There was also a crossover episode, with Batman and Robin not knowing that the Green Hornet was really a 100% good guy. They were going to be turned into giant postage stamps or something.
The original script called for Robin to beat Kato (Bruce Lee) in the brawl. Lee said if they try that, he’ll hit Burt Ward (Robin) for real. They rewrote the script to make it a tie,
For my money, the Black Beauty beats the Batmobile for cool superhero car. It had a built in remote controlled drone (sentinel) in 1966. A LOT more passenger space (1966 Imperial). SERIOUS built in machine guns and rocket launchers plus night vision. Oh, and completely bullet proof, whereas a well-lobbed grenade can take out the Caped Crusader and the Boy Wonder in the Batmobile.
The bit where the car was stored upside, which strains credibility, but is otherwise cool.
Ah the late 1960’s. Good times.
Haven’t heard that one in a long time.
The Robert Goulet version....
