Sec. 4. Promoting Compliance with Non-Discrimination Law in Obtaining Medical Care. In furtherance of the policy set forth in section 1 of this order, and to ensure that individuals are not denied necessary healthcare on the basis of any ground protected by Federal law, including current pregnancy, past pregnancy, potential or intended pregnancy, or other medical conditions, the Secretary of HHS shall consider all appropriate actions to advance the prompt understanding of and compliance with Federal non-discrimination laws by healthcare providers that receive Federal financial assistance. Such actions may include:

Healthcare providers threatened with non-payment of Federal funds if they don’t ignore Pro-life laws.

Yes. And this EO is directed at the Health and Human Services agency. Basically this EO says that if a blue state Dr. that receives any federal monies (i.e. medicare, etc.) refuses to perform an abortion simply because the patient is from a red non-abortion state, any and all future federal payments are forfeited.

He signed an E.O., not a bill passed by Congress. How does his E.O. ‘support’ travel to other states to obtain abortion. Is he ordering federal agencies to provide transport? Or is he telling federal agencies to not interfere with people traveling out of state?
