Alex Jones appeared shocked as he was told his lawyers had accidentally handed over hundreds of text messages by mistake after he told a court that they did not exist, after admitting that the Sandy Hook massacre did happen.
The InfoWars host squirmed in his seat after confirming his phone number was linked to the texts, after previously declaring under oath at the defamation hearing that there were no messages about Sandy Hook on his phone.
Jones was horrified to discover that his team sent a digital copy of every text and email about Sandy Hook, despite declaring under oath that they didn’t exist.
Attorney Mark Banston, working for the Sandy Hook parents, revealed that they received the information 12 days ago, spanning years.
Jones called it their ‘Perry Mason’ moment during the trial, with Jones being accused of perjuring himself while giving evidence.
He previously testified that he was unable to find any emails regarding the Sandy Hook massacre, and was shocked when one was shown on screen to the court.
Jones was asked if he felt repeatedly claiming the shooting was a hoax was irresponsible, replying 'it was, especially since I've met the parents.'
He claimed he was ‘under a lot of pressure’ at the time he claimed the slayings were a hoax, adding: ‘I truly meant it when I said those statements.

Jones is a lunatic.
L
He’s finished.
It seems to me that denying text messages or emails exist when they do, is a really poor strategy. Way too much chance they can be discovered.
He’s a lunatic, but even lunatics deserve a good lawyer, instead of one who sabotages your defense.
Soon to be a poor lunatic.
“instead of one who sabotages your defense”
Withholding evidence would be actually sabotaging his defense. Turning over the evidence is the lawyers doing their job.
The lawyers did not force Jones to lie on the stand, and since it’s a civil case, they could not prevent him from being called to testify.
Well, since he’s always seemed to be a disinfo agent for the intelligence agencies, he probably has some money stashed offshore the courts won’t get to.
He should have used a sledgehammer, or BleachBit his phone......NOTHING gets Prosecuted in THOSE situations!
It’s that thing Bill Clinton committed and he wasn’t prosecuted for it
Hard to tell from this snippet, but in one area it says “the emails didn’t exist” - which when I first read it I took it to mean “I never sent any emails about it”.
But later it says that he searched for them and couldn’t find them. So he probably thought they were deleted, but somebody with better skills was able to find/recover them.

Don’t know that I’ve ever seen a “trial” this biased and corrupt. Jones handed over all kinds of evidence and went through multiple depositions and then the liberal Democrat judge ruled that he “withheld” info.....what exactly he supposedly withheld has never been made clear. And that therefore on the basis of this, ruled he was not allowed to put up a defense.
There’s a reason these suits were brought in Leftist Austin, Texas and in Connecticut where the plaintiffs knew they would get hopelessly biased Democrat judges who would make a mockery of the justice system - kinda like the DC courts.
He trusts the plan too much.
Sounds like he should have been doing the old “I can’t recall” all along, but he is too arrogant.
Yes, when all this would come out, and it eventually would, they could have been held in contempt or even endangered their licenses.
Of course it wasn’t a hoax. Jones is a nutcase.
The goal is to bankrupt and effectively silence Alex Jones, the 900 pound gorilla of the alternative media. Silencing Jones will also intimidate many others who hold unconventional views outside the range of acceptable viewpoints, from Fox to Huffpost.
What's next? Suing people who claim the moon landing was faked or suing people who claim that the earth is flat?
There are those who still claim that a plane did NOT hit the Pentagon on 9/11/01. They say it was a missile. Can the families of those who died in that crash sue those who make that claim? Say what you will about Alex Jones, but this lawsuit sets a dangerous precedent.
Hi.
It must suck to be Jones right now.
Smart move filing Ch 7...or was it 11 for his company?
No matter. It will probably be both.
