D.C. is a gun free zone. It is next to impossible to get a concealed carry permit in D.C. Just possessing a bullet is a major crime there.

That guy had a colossal lack of situational awareness.
Traveling from TX, walking around DC carrying a gun. And then "moved towards" officers in DC while armed.
Furthermore, isn't it well know that there are multiple tiers of "justice" in this country? Just because blm and the aunti fa crowd can get away with rioting, buring and looting doesn't mean everyone else can (or should).
Besides, what did this 1 armed guy and a few hundred unarmed people think they were going to do exactly? How exactly did they think they were going to get what they wanted at the 11th millisecond of the 11th second of the 11th minute of the 11th hour? Yell and scream at the federal politicians who are completely removed from the people and live/work in their DC/beltway bubble...and that would force the fed congress frauds to agree with them?
It was crystal clear there were never enough in congress to reject any state's EC votes, let alone the EC votes from the needed half dozen or so contested states to bring xiden's numbers below Trumps.
It was completely over once the states certified and sent their EC votes to DC to be tallied.
I hope people learned a valuable lesson from the J6 fiasco.
DO NOT think for a nano-second that the federal government will in any way fix election fraud that occurs IN THE STATES. Remove that notion from your thinking.
Any hope of correcting or preventing wide scale election fraud MUST occur in the STATES.
Turn your attention and ire to your local school boards and your local/state elections and make sure they never again certify fraud in their elections.
Wrong battle. Wrong Time. Wrong tactics.
Mr. Reffitt (& other J6 political prisoners) made many big times errors that fateful day and is now paying for them.
