House Speaker Nancy Pelosi kicked off an Asia tour Monday that's been shrouded in secrecy following an escalation in tensions with China over Taiwan.
With no word on whether Pelosi will visit the island, she stopped first in Singapore, where Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong urged her at a meeting to strive for "stable" ties with Beijing.
Her itinerary also includes Malaysia, South Korea and Japan, but a possible Taiwan visit has dominated attention in the run-up.

A convenient war in an era of tactical nukes and high-tech battlefields would be a bloody thing to behold.
That said, we can be pretty sure it isn't the top brass of the Pussified Pentagon who is pushing for war. They are too busy planning gay bathhouses and drag shows on their bases around the world.
China’s gonna stamp their feet and throw a tantrum. What’re they gonna do? Their entire country’s existence is contingent on nobody noticing the single largest military target in the history of the world.
China ramps up their bullshit and there are 6 countries who will target that stupid dam and take out the entire country. 400 million dead in a matter of days and another 500 million dead from starvation and thirst weeks later.

They are trying to get a war started with Russia but that has not worked yet, so why not the Chinese?
Actually I don’t believe the Chinese want a war right now. They have their own problems and a war with the US would not solve any of them.

Being in Taiwan requires two things:
1. Getting there, and
2. Leaving there.
It's not just Xi who has power. It's all those who comprise Xi's power structure who must be dealt with if Xi were to be toppled. I doubt that even Xi's inner circle has a crystal clear idea of China's power structure.

Come on, Nancy. Let’s see if you have the same kind of gumptions to stand up against Xi and the CCP as you have to stand up against the American voters outside your home district, where you have the vote machine so rigged in your favor that nobody could possibly run against you.
