The Ukrainian military said on Saturday it had killed scores of Russian soldiers and destroyed two ammunition dumps in fighting in the Kherson region, the focus of Kyiv's counter-offensive in the south and a key link in Moscow's supply lines.
Rail traffic to Kherson over the Dnipro River had been cut, the military's southern command said, potentially further isolating Russian forces west of the river from supplies in occupied Crimea and the east.
Defence and intelligence officials from Britain, which has been one of Ukraine's staunchest allies in the West since Moscow's Feb. 24 invasion, portrayed Russian forces as struggling to maintain momentum.
Ukraine has used Western-supplied long-range missile systems to badly damage three bridges across the Dnipro in recent weeks, cutting off Kherson city and - in the assessment of British defence officials - leaving Russia's 49th Army stationed on the west bank of the river highly vulnerable.

Putin even did the impossible and got Sweden to drop its longstanding and cherished neutrality so it could desperately seek protection within NATO. The best protection for Europe now is to support Ukraine’s armed forces as they kill more Russians.

Ukrainian news sources have seriously under-reported Russian atrocities. From my friends and family there I have learned that many occupied towns have seen far worse than those that have gotten publicity like Bucha. The Russians are criminals through and through. Poland has just ordered 1000 tanks. In addition to the 250 Abrams they are getting from the US. How do you think they feel today after seeing Russia murder 50 POW a la Katyn yesterday? If Russia threatens Odesa or Kyiv an avalanche of support will drop on Ukraine.
The fact is russia is doing all it can now and is only staying afloat due to Soros EU financing and weakness from Brandon. Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, is only a few miles from the border and yet the biggest country in the world can’t capture it. Ukraine has become Russia’s graveyard and Putinist Russia is the laughing stock of the world.
Russia has made zero progress in Luhansk and Donetsk in over a month. And they’re going backwards everywhere else.

The highly trained-to-NATO standards Ukrainian military had numerical superiority, were on their home territory, were trained and prepared for several years, had operational control of the terrain, and were highly motivated as they were/are defending their home territory - west of The Eastern Provinces which they themselves were continuously attacking- along with a fanatical hatred of Russians. Do results count? Should results count? You bet. The Ukrainians are losing....
PR is not really a tough job when mass murdering Kremlin filth are your opponent. The reports just write themselves due to how Russia rolls.
