We have them manning most of the HIMARs we have sent, for example. They are training, for example.
And the Americans going over there as MERCs are getting chewed up and spit out near daily or hightailing it back to the States asap cause that Russian artillary just kicking their asses. The Russians have captured some American MERCs, but be assured, the Russians don’t treat them as POWs nor give them POW status cause they MERCs so they get sent to a prison to rot or are just straight up killed. You won’t here about them tho from the Western or US propaganda machine - narrative has to be maintained: Russia/Putin bad.
Anyone with HALF A BRAIN, which includes the Neocons here, knows that there is NO WAY the Ukrainians are operating the US long-range artillery - the damn instruction books are not even written in Ukrainian. Nothing wrong with Ukrainian people, as we wouldn’t do any better trying to fly Migs without many months or years of training.
And, like I just said, the Neocons know this FULL WELL, and anything they post here otherwise is simply because they have no choice but to deny it.

Most of the stuff that breaks is mechanical. If they can maintain hydraulics and trucks they can maintain HIMARS. The FCS does not require maintenance. Most of it is Line Replaceable Units (plug in the fix).

There is no-way-in-H the State Department would permit Active Duty military inside Ukraine. Russia would have to invade a NATO member first. That is why Russia’s neighbors clamor to join NATO.

The same was said prior to Vietnam too, but US advisors - active duty troops/units, etc. were there.
We have been training the Ukrainians for years, and be assured, we -the US- have ‘advisors’ there.

God only knows, at this point, but half of our (much reduced) army wouldn’t surprise me.
You do know the US has three active military bases in Iraq at the request of the Iraqi government, don’t you? Full ISR, rotary and fixed wing assets plus more. You can sometimes read of strikes in Iraq usually against ISIS.
Saddam is dead
ISIS is beaten and scattered.
What instability there is is small and localized within Iraq. Whack-a-mole operations are ongoing.
We’ve had troops in Germany, Japan and South Korea for decades too.
This from a guy that didn’t care that Iraq invaded Kuwait,
and now doesn’t care that Russia invaded the Ukraine.
