Does explain why the Dallas PD chief mentioned that the shooter was shot repeatedly in 'the lower extremities' - aka 'her butt'. Looks like the cop first hit her in the torso, she went down, she kept going for the gun and the only target she presented was... well, her butt. The officer didn't have a great angle either.

Why was she wearing a bodycam?

She wasn’t, but the title doesn’t say she was - it’s the police bodycam, not the shooter’s bodycam. :P I think they’re missing the word “recordings” or similar in there.

“Active Shooter Response”.

It takes courage, confidence and focus to make a potentially life ending decision. Surgeons somehow do it everyday.
They don’t freeze in place, with scalpel still held in hand.
