“split end” would be an insult to split ends everywhere. It would also insult wide receivers, tight ends,punt receivers, or any job requiring catching a ball. In a pinch she might get to be a designated punter since she/he/it is good at that. But if you made me put her in a game it would have to be “ball holder.”
A while back I was on a group Teams call with HR.
One HR chick trying to be buddy/buddy asked if she can call me “Deaf”.
I told her on the call that she call me Mr Smith or Smith.
