A better question would be “True, but how many Americans of European origin will speak up?”, given Europe is the area being screwed to favor Turkey and Russia.

Because the pipeline was a Chevron-led project, and Joe said he’d refuse SEC and environmental sign-off on the funding.

“Why can’t Europe and Israel go ahead, and build and pay for it themselves, without American support?”

There is no “American” support, unless you mean American companies and shareholders looking to make money. But, there are efforts underway to have non-American companies fund and undertake the project. The non-American capital markets just aren’t as robust and your pipeline companies are the best in the world.

Basically, Biden made it clear that American companies can’t participate — or face the consequences. They use the IRS, EPA, SEC, bank lending regs, whatever, to support their goal.

It’s all part of his war on domestic oil/gas producers — even when producing outside the USA.

Plus, it’s a shout out to the antisemitic base of the Democrat party.
