In another Democrat narrative-debunking situation, a law-abiding citizen carrying a firearm stopped a shooting in progress at a mall food court in Indiana over the weekend — and is likely to be ignored by most within the mainstream media despite overwhelming praise from leaders in the community.
In a Greenwood, Indiana, mall — roughly 15 miles south of Indianapolis — a man armed with a rifle opened fire on Sunday evening in the food court, fatally shooting three individuals and wounding two others. But then, a "a good Samaritan with a handgun," according to Greenwood police Chief James Ison, put the shooter down.
The bystander, identified as a 22-year-old who was in the food court when the shooting started, "was able to stop this shooter almost as soon as he began." Ison added. "The real hero of the day is the citizen that was lawfully carrying a firearm in that food court," he said at a press conference.

God was sending you a message. Maybe?
FOX said it was a gun free zone.
Seems the killer didn’t follow that recommendation - and THANK GOD - EITHER DID THE HERO.
The lowlife jerk choose a food court - easy pickings. He was probably thinking in terms of killing a few hundred people. Now he screams in hell for only a few lives. What a loser...
From Fox59.com:
The suspect
The suspect was described by police as an adult male armed with a rifle and multiple magazines.
Police raided the apartment of the suspected gunman hours after the shooting.
FOX59’s Russ McQuaid was at the suspect’s apartment this morning and talked to neighbors who told us that between midnight and 3 a.m. there was a raid at the apartment. The raid included SWAT teams, FBI, and a bomb disposal unit.
No identification or motivation has been released.
I’m guessing Trump supporting white nationalist. (If he wasn’t wouldn’t the media have told us by now?) (Do I need the /sarc tag?) Didn’t think so.

Per the above...
“...The mall has been the site of several gun-related incidents over the past several months...”
Okaaaay....
We’re here now for a reason. Each of us.
Up to now, we’ve had it fairly good at times.
Pretty sure anybody trying that in my church would be swiss cheese in short order. I love Texas.
I’ve been to the Mall in indy and strapped, no posting of Guns notallowed.
Better to have it
And Not Need It !
Her in Kentucky, signs like that do not have the force of law. They can only ask you to leave.
And because a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun the media won’t let it out of the local news..
Hmmmm! Last time I was in a simon properties mall, most of the “prohibited activities” were on full display. 😲🤔✌
The good Lord brought us here and ‘Here I Am’ will
Be my Response when called.
I sense a shift. This was reported on ABC this morning, calling a concealed carrier a hero. Also, reporting the Sheriff praised the young hero. What gives? Who gave them permission to report such, holding a person with CCW a hero?
It’s on the Greenwood Mall doors and on signs just inside the doors, been that way for years.
Maybe I need to be that person.
I think you just answered your own question.
Accidental discharge, and thugs being thugs in the huge parking lot robbing people out there.
I am very aware of my surroundings when I am in a parking lot, but I usually don’t carry event though I can. I do other places but Greenwood Mall is still a very decent place for the most part.
You have your groups walking around you maybe keep a closer eye on, but I have never once felt uncomfortable enough to think “I should have brought my gun.”
You don’t need a permit in Indiana as of July 1.
I was escorted out of another Simon property for carrying a gun. I was with my daughter shopping, and we stopped by the Williams-Sonoma store, but there was a huge line. Some lady was signing a cook book. We bypassed the line because we weren’t looking to have a book signed. When we got inside, we saw it was the country singer lady married to Garth Brooks. I then remembered that Brooks was in Indianapolis for a concert, so it figures.
Anyway, my daughter was joking around and pulled on my shirt. My CCW was acciedentally exposed and some lady gasped. We left the store and a mall cop started following me. Then he stopped me and asked if I was carrying. I said yes, and he told me it wasn’t allowed and there was a sign posted. He then escorted me out of the mall. At the door, there’s a small placard listing the things not allowed, and “no guns” was on it. The placard didn’t seem to meet the legal requirement of a notice, but it’s their mall so I left.
I still go back and I still carry there EVERY TIME. I always carry, even when it’s my little .32acp.
If your state still requires unconstitutional permits, consider applying for an owner's permit and a carry permit even if you have no intention of using either.
Stay Well - Stay Armed.
