The Florida estate of the late conservative radio legend Rush Limbaugh roughly 2.7-acre Palm Beach estate, with a roughly 24,000-square-foot main house, is set to hit the market with an asking price of $150 million to $175 million.
Limbaugh, who died in February 2021, has multiple structures on Palm Beach's North Ocean Boulevard, in an area and a state that has seen many migrate during the pandemic.
The estate includes about 250 feet of oceanfront property that leads straight on to the beach.
The Presidential Medal of Freedom Winner's widow, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, is in charge of selling the property.
The couple owns two homes that are connected to the main estate, which the radio host bought for about $3.9 million in 1998 and which has been part of the skyrocketing price for the entire area.
Real estate has exploded in the Palm Beach area since the beginning of the pandemic, with sales totaling tens and hundreds of millions of dollars for the likes of Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison.
The main house has seven bedrooms, a dozen bathrooms and a two-story library that can be fully accessed via an elevator.
The mansion also includes hundreds of feet of oceanfront property, as well as a pool and a putting green for golf.
Limbaugh, the radio icon and 'voice of American conservatism', died in February of 2021, aged 70,
He was diagnosed with Stage IV advanced lung cancer back in February 2020, hosted his last radio show on February 2 during which he revealed another host was on standby in case his health deteriorated.
'Well, my friends, that's it. Yet another excursion into broadcast excellence in the can. Enjoyed being with you today, always do. And look forward to the next time,' he said at the conclusion of the show.

It was money that allowed Rush to do what he did so well, and he used it to his and our advantage. It might be considered pretty narrow minded to see it otherwise. JMHO.
Rush was a libertarian pretending to be a conservative.
You can’t even begin to prove that point when it comes to the open border issue. The Libertarian Platform is full of holes in comparison to the Republican, or Democrat. Like the Constitution itself, the problem is humans versus the Platform.
One could even relate life to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the massive confusion it has engendered as the Doctrinal differences cause separation rather than the unity they should inspire.
I hate to say this, but I don’t think his wife was very nice.
She looked like a snob and if Rush was anything...it was NEVER A SNOB.
I think he felt that and it contributed to his “giving up.”
I sure do miss Rush...R.I.P.
I agree.
The time to panic was decades ago and yet he kept saying, “I’ll let you know when it’s time to panic”. It’s the one thing he could have done that wouldn’t have cost him one dime of his precious money.
“Too bad Rush never used his voice and money to do anything substantial, politically speaking.”
In some ways yes, but in other ways, being “on the outside”, Rush was free to call it as he saw it on everything and everyone. He helped so many that did run for office, by lifting up the causes of why the were running.
I know so many “Rush babies”. He influenced their adult lives and set a path for raising their own children the right way.
“He was foremost all about the $$$”
Like Trump, he donated millions of dollars every year to worthy charities, quietly and without fanfare.
America would have fallen long before it did (and it did) without Rush’s voice every day.
Get over yourself.
Yes, I was pacified I’ll admit it. A bubble brain. Since Limbaugh’s passing I have not listened to one minute of “talk” radio. I am still unsure why that is...
Three of my 4 kids married spouses who were raised on rush. One said when she got in his vehicle for the first time rushes baabasbaa boom started on the radio and sh said this sounds just like my parents’ cars!
You miss the central point of Rush Limbaugh
As Rush told us every day, he had talent on loan from God. He used that talent to his best ability.
Governor of Florida is trivial when compared to being Rush
Like Dirty Harry said....... “A man’s got to know his limitations”
Rush was acutely aware of the limits of his talents on loan from God
“This idea that he owed it to society to do something with all his money is liberalism at its core and utterly evil.”
Thank you! Actually, it’s worse than simple liberalism. Socialism.
I’ve seen it from the street and the beach. The purchase price that Rush paid sounds right and if doubled today would be a good sales price. There is no way it’s worth $175 million. It is in no way in tear down condition. It is surrounded by houses just like it as far as you can see north and south on the beach. And then there is the interior of the island where there are many huge houses with no water view at all.
Rush’s house struck me as missing one thing: beach access. It is next door to a public path for beach access, but I saw no way to get to the beach from Rush’s property.
I enjoy Dan Bongino who has Rush’s old slot here. Different style, but good content. Would rather have Rush, but ... (No football or golf chat, either.)
Mark steyn did a nice job
“Rush’s signature song anymore. It was always so comforting”
It’s my cell phone ring tone. Makes me smile.
Yea, the millions we know about. I'm sure there were millions more that were never revealed........
I'll never forget that Senate democrat letter that he auctioned off on Ebay that sold for $2 million which he matched and donated it to one of his favorite charities. That was an in your face hoot to those Dems.......LOL!
Agree. I watch two hours of Bannon, then listen to three hours of Bongino. Learn a lot.
I’m sorry you missed his strategy. It was brilliant and more effective than any politician could have accomplished taking into account the duration of his influence and the breadth of his audience. you would have enjoyed him so much more if you had understood this.
Nope. It’s not even worth 50 million. Not even in these crazy PB markets of the last 5+ years. BTW, I live here.
